@debajyotinath50213 жыл бұрын
its not disrespect really. UFC wants those fights which sells well and makes more money. When Stipe got KO by Cormier in the first fight, there was no other big challenge for Cormier left in the division, so Stipe vs Cormier 2 was sure to make money. When Stipe got KO by Ngannou, there was Lewis who has defeated Ngannou earlier, and there was Gane, who hadn't lost a fight. So a fight against any of these two was considered a better match rather than Stipe. They would have probably considered Stipe if only Stipe hadn't lost so badly. It was almost a no contest.

Gane Vs Ngannou Miocic Vs Lewis Jones Vs Volkov Those would be good fights, fair to what everyone deserves based on what they showed as heavyweight.

I think there's only 2 possible outcomes for the division, either Francis knocks everybody out or the belt gets passed around.

Stipe deserves a rematch, but I don’t see him beating Francis or Gane
@severussnape59783 жыл бұрын
I think rematch only makes sense if the fight was very close, controversial, ended in fluke, or the defeated worked his way back up.

@@severussnape5978 Stipe wasn’t dominated in the fight. He got knocked out, but he’s the most winning champ of his division you don’t think that earns him a rematch?

@@thomasminarchickjr.7355 what do you mean he wasn't dominated? Dude ate bombs, got headkicked and outwrestled before the KO
@LlamaBearMan3 жыл бұрын
@@thomasminarchickjr.7355 I'd have to disagree. Stipe was dominated in this 2nd fight. A big reason Stipe won the first fight was because he was able to takedown Francis pretty easily and use wrestling to tire him out. Once Francis showed that he wasn't about to get out wrestled again it was a wrap and Stipe had no answer.
