Steve Garcia bringing that Mexican boxing style of constant aggression with an iron chin and adapting it to MMA. Very nice.

After all this time, it seems like no one ever told him this is mma. Basically he has mid-boxing and that’s it. Dude threw zero kicks and attempted no grappling whatsoever. How tf he thinks that one dimensional game is going to play at the top level of the UFC is laughable. But is does explain his losing streak. No ability to adapt his game at all.

Calvin Kattar is on a 5 fight skid...not so long ago he looked like one of the most dangerous fights in Featherweight. I think the Max fight did to him what the Gaethje fight did to Tony. I seriously think Calvin should consider retiring.

Tough break. Unfortunately, Kattar is just a one dimensional mid-tier boxer who predictably gets beat by guys who actually mix the martial arts. After all this time, Kattar still obviously has no idea how to kick or initiate any kind of grappling. It baffling that he never bothered to evolve his game yet imagined he could remain competitive in the upper ranks of the UFC.

First of all, Kattar is 37 and it shows. Too old and slow to be a threat at FW anymore. But secondly, he’s about the most one dimensional fighter you’ll ever see. He throws no kicks, shoots zero TDs, and hasn’t a clue how to implement offensive grappling. After all this time, had no one told him this is mma?

:::: Not sure if this will ever make it to Dana White, but here goes... I've been into the UFC since way back-Royce Gracie vs Ken Shamrock kind of days. Absolute classics that I’ve rewatched more times than I can count. But lately, it feels like things have shifted. It’s like the UFC's more focused on pumping fighters through the rankings than building those iconic moments. The magic just isn’t there anymore. Every week there’s another lineup of fights, and honestly, most of them don’t grab me. I’ve actually hit pause on watching UFC for now and ended up watching soccer instead... and I don’t even like soccer. Just feels like a flood of forgettable fights-too much, too often. What happened to legends like Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, Cain Velasquez? I could list more, but you get the idea. And what happened to listening to the fans? Do our voices even count anymore?
