Outside of bantamweight, the female divisions are definitely stacked right now. Suarez and Andrade should be a high level scrap…two OG strawweights I’ve always been a fan of.

Grasso wasn't a champion that time & she's way better. Tatiana is a giant compare to a petite Carla & Andrade. Nothing impressive winning against them 115. Her natural weight class is 125

@@AriGoldBawse You're missing the point obviously. Grasso wasn't a previous champion so the credibility for beating a former champ is non existent. Grasso is the current flyweight champion and a different fighter from the last time she faced her.

Tatiana is probably my favorite MMA fighter right now. Her story is so compelling and she is very down to earth and funny to boot. I don't think there is a woman who can out wrestle her on the whole roster and she turns into an absolute beast inside the cage. Her ground and pound is just going to get better and better. She got tagged hard and was backed up in that 3rd round against Nunes...she lost that round. If someone can keep her at arms length a piece her up enough to slow her down, she is vulnerable IMO. I'd like to see how she has improved in that department but this is not the fight I'd pick to get very deep into that. Andrade is at a desperate place career-wise and she will likely go down swing hard tonight. Maul her on the ground , Tatiana.

She's getting ahead of herself saying it will be her 3rd champion she beats. Gotta consider good fighters she fought years ago have never stopped training and only got better. In that time Tatiana got hurt, and judging by how she came back, she's nowhere near where she was before. She needs more fights, and this little striker she's fighting might be too sharp and crisp for Tatiana. Where Blanchfield is now as the scary rising star, was where Tatiana was before injuries.

Agreed. Although I do see Suarez beating Andrade because even though Andrade hits like a Mack truck,she lacks fight IQ and hasn't really evolved as a fighter still relying mainly on her brute strength and not technique. In the past, it was enough to get her the title but she wound up losing it as soon as she got it. Suarez has the ability to submit her pretty much the way Blanchfield did but will have to work harder to get it. The real challenges for Suarez at strawweight will be opponents like Mackenzie Dern, Rodriguez,and Xiaonan. I would include Rose Namajunas but she's at a crossroads in her career.
