I'm impressed that Nate & Nick can switch back and forth between UFC Fights and "Extreme" Triathlons". Sounds like Nick was an awesome Big Brother to Nate. These guys are hardcore "Natural Born Fighters". Most of us who grew up in Tough Neighborhoods knew guys like the Diaz Brothers. Conor best be ready.

one of the most important pillars of MMA is the Diaz Brothers!

Their videos are complete polar opposite of each other, Conor's are intense, full of hype, arrogance, trash talk, showing off how he will do this do that training with this guy and that guy that supposed to be a great in boxing and grappling etc. while Nate's is just chill with a side of cursing every once in a while, humble stories about his life and more of a cameo training.

Nick is actually a nice guy from the last few videos i watched. The UFC puts Nate out there in these little videos, usually subtitled swearing and flipping the cameras off. Great interview. MMA came along at the perfect time for quite a lot of young men. Now a lot of these kids are hybrids when it comes to disciplines. Straight up badasses. Can’t imagine just ten years from now how much better they will be. The sport just never quits evolving.

One of the dearest fighters to me with a great attitude towards everyone, he is always respectful, humble and fun but at the same time self confident and brave. He could have ended up being a criminal but has chosen the hard and better way in life becoming one of the best fighters there is. A true and worth example to many guys out there.

I really appreciate the energy of this interview and how calm and at ease Nate was with Megan. If it was all her doing and preparing for that interview then if I were Nate's PR person, she'd be brought into the circle of trust. Seriously, it was so nice to see Nate chillin' and conversating in a relaxed fashion. It was a surprise though when i heard Nate & her say that was where Conor & Nate would go for 2. But, that aside i thought that was a great lense to see Nate (& more of Nick as well via Nate) through as Nate shared about his brother's influence and displayed a great deal of respect and admiration towards Nick, Nick's goals in life and Nick's guidance & encouragement of Nate. That humility is pretty radical being that the typical human ego is usually powerful & self seeking or self serving. And that's not even considering the dynamic of sibling rivalary, which I haven't ever heard a peep about with the brothers. Utterly amazing and super cool. I've already said it but i have no qualms about repeating myself: i think the world of Nate and Nick both.
