I ran into Jens at Rampage vs Jones in Denver in 2011. He was walking by, no one noticed him, but I did. I ran up and said "Hey Jens! You're awesome man, I'm a huge fan!" And it brought the biggest smile to his face, and he said "thanks man!". We shook hands and he walked off. He just gave off the friendliest, most humble vibe. I'm glad he's getting inducted into the HoF!! Well deserved!

I painted a picture of him when I was 14 or 15 when he was in the WEC about 2009. I had been a huge fan since TUF 5 and watched all his old UFC fights and Pride fights. It sucked I started when he was no longer in his prime but still watched every one of his fights. I shared that picture on his facebook though and he reposted it and thanked me. He's such a genuinely nice person. He always posted pictures of his family and his son was just toddler back then and it's so cool to see how strong their bond is. With everything Jens has been through to be such a good positive person and role model for others, he really won at life. Being in the HoF is just icing on the cake.

Congrats to Jens Pulver. You deserve it and honestly shouldn't have taken this long. I met him years ago randomly at a Bass Pro Shop in Clarksville Indiana. He was going to be a guest referee for some local fights at our local casino. Cool dude. Congrats again!

Jens was such a huge part of my early fandom. I was a HUGE Penn fan, but Pulver won me over so much and then their TUF season just solidified that for me. Congrats man. CONGRATS.

So awesome! Jens is an amazing guy. His season of TUF Pulver v Penn is my fav season because Jens is so authentic and not ashamed to show exactly what he feels. His story about his father beating him and being open about it is something I always remembered.
