People hate on Kimbo, but the season where he came on really showed how humble and down to earth the guy was. He was a nice dude who grew up in a bad neighborhood, you need that killer street guy look to survive in that shit.
@dabeastfromdaweast9788

not only that but it also showed the level of fighters the UFC had even at the TUF level. The hype behind Kimbo was so real back then so watching someone like Roy Nelson just run a clinic on Kimbo just established the UFC as so much more legit than people believed at the time

I was 20 years old when the first season came out and I can remember sitting with my roommates and a bunch of other people watching that Bonner v. Griffin match. It was like a Rocky fight in real life, everyone in the room was amazed, it got everyone up like I'd never seen before from a sport. That fight and that season turned us all into true fans of MMA, and I think perhaps a whole generation.

The humility that Kimbo had and how humble he was is so admirable. Not once did he ever act like he knew everything there was in fighting just because he was a great boxer. Kimbo wasn’t a great boxer. Kimbo was a powerful man who could out-punch the rest of the dudes in his neighborhood. I wouldn’t call Kimbo a boxer. I’d call him a dog that knew how to fight with his hands. And he was humble because he knew this just as well as we all could see it, and it’s absolutely commendable due to the hype around him at the time. I mean Kimbo had so much hype it’s got people actually having the audacity to call him a great boxer. But at the end of the day, he was grounded, he understood the reality of the situation but took the opportunity to try and do a little better for himself and his family. At the end of the day, I don’t want to hate on Kimbo, but praise him for the same reason you do. It’s just painful seeing people refer to Kimbo much better than he was as well due to that hype

Chael is such a good coach that he lied to Uriah Hall about losing fights so Uriah would be more confident.

If Dana somehow BS's Rose out of a title shot I'm never watching the UFC again. Juan Archuleta is already one of my favorite fighters so I could be a full time Bellator fan if it wasn't for Rose. I haven't heard Rose say once that she didn't want a title shot. Why would she fight a rematch with her biggest match up problem which was Jessica to not fight for the title. It doesn't make any sense and Dana is lying.
