Maybe I'm partial because i genuinely believe striking is the best style for mma with proper grappling knowledge and takedown defence, but i think pereira who walks around like 230 could beat aspinal and reaxh tripple gold, and people every step of the way have been there to try and say otherwise and have been proven dead wrong time and time again. I'm a big Pereira fan but there's no way I see him beating Tom. I knew Alex would beat Hill, just like I knew he'd beat Jiri twice... these guys have this thing where they HAVE to beat Alex on the feet, like an ego thing where they can't stand that Alex is always the favorite striking wise going in. Even Magomed who is primarily a grappler said that he isn't even going to try and take Alex down, he can "knock him out"... like are these guys stupid? They have wrestling but instead of using it they try and kickbox the kickboxer. But Tom and even Jones would just take Alex down and submit him in the first round. It would be like the Gane fight all over again. If it stays on the feet I can see it going either way between Tom and Alex.
