Tom has never beaten anyone as good as Ryan Bader. Bader is a bellator heavyweight champion. He's never beaten anyone as good as Francis Ngannou. Jon Jones and Stipe have those level of wins. Victories over Olympic wrestling captain Daniel Cormier. Stipe has knocked out Overeem. Stipe and Jones have wins that Aspinall can't match. Aspinall is probably better now. But these are two GOATS.

People are frustrated that he's been denied a title shot right now, when Jon and Stipe have done nothing for years, and Tom has been working his ass off.

Maybe I'm partial because i genuinely believe striking is the best style for mma with proper grappling knowledge and takedown defence, but i think pereira who walks around like 230 could beat aspinal and reaxh tripple gold, and people every step of the way have been there to try and say otherwise and have been proven dead wrong time and time again. Honestly I think it would be a lot more competitive than the jones fight at this point in thier careers

I'm a big Pereira fan but there's no way I see him beating Tom. I knew Alex would beat Hill, just like I knew he'd beat Jiri twice... these guys have this thing where they HAVE to beat Alex on the feet, like an ego thing where they can't stand that Alex is always the favorite striking wise going in. Even Magomed who is primarily a grappler said that he isn't even going to try and take Alex down, he can "knock him out"... like are these guys stupid? They have wrestling but instead of using it they try and kickbox the kickboxer. But Tom and even Jones would just take Alex down and submit him in the first round. It would be like the Gane fight all over again. If it stays on the feet I can see it going either way between Tom and Alex. If it's on the feet between Alex and Jones then I see Alex absolutely destroying Jones hands down. But this is MMA and the first skilled fighter to actually take Demetrious Johnson's advice will beat him.

The rules are if a champion can't defend there will be an interim champ, if the champ can't fight the interim and the interim fight sna d defends that fight becomes for the main belt. Tom is actually by law the champ
