Honestly doesn’t deserve the hate, and definitely deserves more respect. He’s a destroyer, a great guy, a great commentator, and always delivers win or lose. He’s not the only guy whose ever eyepoked, and you can’t deny all of his wins because of one fight with accidental eye pokes.

This Man didn't even begin taking MMA Seriously until right around his 30s, compared to most fighters who are lifers. His wrestling is always going to be what he's most regarded for, but His clinch boxing was second to None 💯 His resume is ridiculously impressive as well, Not only did he hold 2 titles simultaneously, but he did so while approaching and being in his early 40's. As far as losses go, 2 losses against Miocic (while also holding a victory over him), and 1 loss against Jones (other was overturned), is nothing to be ashamed of. Those guys are regarded as the best of all time in their divisions, noone else even looked competitive against DC.

Stipe has a weird chin. He survives clean shots from some of the divisions heaviest hitters, but then shots that don't appear to hit him particularly hard drop and fold him.
