Exactly. This is those kind of " f*** you" moments people speak of that are a strong argument against early ref stoppages. Benny and others cut from the same cloth should not be denied this moment to show this character and heart.

Dariush is a true fighter and a superstar who always puts up a show. But he is ignored just because he is respectful to people and doesn't talk thrash. Whereas fighters like Colby who has finished only one (woodley in a freakish manner) fight in his last eight fights is about to be given another title shot. Wouldnt work. Charles was to high up.. hard to get leverage to throw yourself backward hard (think about Dustins back muscles would have to carry who Charless weight).
