If he beats jacare then he should fight yoel since he's declining. It'll be a good test for urijah to see if he can match up against a top 5 talent. I don't think he's ready for the belt just yet tho. He's been around the block a few times now and he's been very consistent at being middle of the pack. If he can get out of that rut then we'll see what happens.

Uriah Hall is a classic case of the mental game being a fighter's downfall. Uriah is so crisp, fast, accurate, and scary in his striking, but has admitted that he's had a tendency not to pull the trigger. Whether it's fear of hurting his opponents or something else, he has his good nights and bad nights, but on the good nights he's an absolute monster.

Momentum 123 Lol no its not a 1 in a million chance, that probability ceases to exist because there are not a million fighters in the UFC, not even a thousand. However due to the increasing roster it is indeed becoming a lot tougher to join the UFC especially since there is a lot tougher competition now. The new breed are taking over, thats why yesterdays generation fighters are slacking more and more often. I'd say the time around when Uriah Hall joined UFC it wasn't too tough back then compared to how it is now.

Juv Por Nah I disagree, fighters are becoming a lot more evolved now. Shemen is just one example who was simply overrated, thats all. You see many fighters today still going 5 rounds and dont forget 5 round main events for non title/championship fights were only introduced in 2011, before that only a championship 5 was 5 rounds. Today there’s just a lot more competition, thats why you’re seeing a fighter lose to like 3 terrible guys and then beat someone amazing because the styles are making a lot more fights nowadays.

His apology after the Anderson Silva fight really summarised Uriah for me personally. His movement is incredible if you know what you're looking at, and he has easily championship level striking. But, he seems to hate hurting people. He didn't want to hurt Anderson, nor to be the reason for Silva's loss. It is a paradox. His skill is undone by his heart. I do believe that he would overcome this problem against Adesanya however, as Izzy will almost certainly disrespect him in the build up An angry and callous Hall could be an absolute killer!

@@P4PmmaFan I think he's a nice guy and a solid athlete with good striking. Reminds me of GSP in attitude. GSP never went out to hurt someone, he just wanted to beat them and luckily his skillset let him do that with jabs, wrestling and ground-and-pound. Hall's skillset is just brutal striking, but he doesn't seem to want to be a brutal guy and when he doesn't allow himself to do it mentally, he becomes passive and loses. The guy has to give himself mental ok to go full bore and then he gets these brutal KO's. I think he's more so trying to be like Khabib, GSP, Bones Jones, etc, and be cool, calm and collected, but would benefit from an attitude like Gaethje, Anthony Johnson, Paul Daley or any of the number of other guys that wouldn't think twice about sending someone to the hospital.

@@jamesmcgrath1851 in terms of technique and skill, Hall can definitely go tit for tat with Adesanya. I think it’s Hall’s mentality that would put him at a disadvantage against Adesanya because Adesanya isn’t afraid to pull the trigger. Hall on the other hand is, and that’s the small but key difference between the two.

I agree. I think Izzy will disrespect Hall and give him the emotional ammunition needed to unload. Hall's movement and physical potential is insane, and I think a reflex counter would be enough to KO Izzy. Hppefully we get to find out!
