Masividals KO is more like 2 seconds. The knee landed before the timing/score graphics even came on the screen during live broadcast. Crazy

That's basically what Joe Rogan said during the octagon interview. If you time it only until the knee hit and not when the ref stops it. Then it would be 2-3 seconds.

Some fighters are so experienced they understand their opponent is completely out. Seldom a fighter will punch a KO opponent out of ill will, its just they don't know better. Masvidal def hit askren on purpose but Askren got what he asked for.

There are two KO’s in MMA history that gave me a sinking feeling in my stomach that we may have just witnessed something really bad happen. One was that Masvidal vs Askren knee and the other was Rashad Evans headkick on Sean Salmon. (IMO cleanest power head kick to ever land, look it up)

That Masvidal Run was legendary, yeah he got lost in the fame I think but before that he was fighting like he had nothing and gained everything. Knocking out the upcoming Star Till Fastes UFC Knockout against an undefeated Askren he literally made an BMF Division with that brandnew UFC BMF Belt Saved a big pay per view against one of the Welterweight GOATs and made Conor Mcgregor numbers. For me personally, a Hall of Famer, even the run wasnt that long, but still fukking amazing.
