I think we can all predict that GSP will be taking Hardy down like it's nobody's business. As for Mir vs Carwin, I'm rooting for Mir to pull some BJJ magic.

Why do people think Dan Hardys striking is going to cause GSP problems? Look at Thiago Alves, Thiago is on a different level of striking than Hardys. He is more skilled in striking and more stronger. Yet GSP outstriked Alves. GSP is much more superior than Hardy is every aspect.

YES ABSOLUTELY BEYOND HARDY IN EVERY SINGLE LEVEL!!! He's a True Mixed Martial Artist that is constantly evolving I expect to see a New & better GSP as I've see in every fight ever since Matt Serra.

I believe GSP & Mir will come out on top both by subs. But it will be one hell of a battle. GSP for the reason that it feels like Hardy doesn't respect GSP's groundgame (as stupid as it sounds) And Mir beacuse he wants it more and his recent loss to Lesner just made him like five times better

Yes Carwin has crazy ko power, and the wrestling advantage, but Mir is faster, just as big and strong, better Jiu jitsu. I also wouldn't say Mir has no chance on the feet. Look what he did to Congo, Nogiera. He was the underdog in the striking and he out struck them both. Should be an exciting fight.

I think GSP is gonna have better stand up then Hardy, because everyone is underestimating his stand up, and GSP's work ethic is just outstanding.

@thnk4urself Mir has actually made sure he hasn't gone slower when he gained the weight, and if you saw the last match mir had with lesnar, lesnar didn't want any part of the stand up

If GSP kept Koscheck, Hughes, Penn, and Fitch on the ground what the hell makes Hardy think he will be able to escape GSP on the ground? These are some of the best grapplers in the world and they had no chance on the ground but Hardy thinks he can? Give me a break!

gsp never strike with Dan, so no he lies when he says he can do it all. he should have strike with him at least in the later rounds like he did BJ, you know when george waits until they are tired! he has no chin and he knows it. Dan did a damn good job, he made it look more like a spar match then a title against the best pound for pound fighter in the world.

I think GSP will dominate like always, but hats off to my favorite British fighter Dan Hardy. If Dan can come in there and rattle GSP he could win the title. I see GSP's weakness is his surprise when his fight plan is taken off coarse. As far as Mir and Carwin, I've gotta take Mir. I'm not impressed with Carwin much and Mir is a man on a mission. I look for him to embaress Carwin.

George St. Pierre is an Amazing Mixed Martial Artist he's a 3rd degree black belt in Kyuokusin Karate & black belt in Jiu Jitsu. Most opposing fans dont seem to get this. He is self defense based, Kyokushin Karate is one of the most respectful arts by that I mean its the real deal. It's really hard to defeat somebody who is not only self defense based but defines what "Black Belts" are ment to be it's not the UFC belt he's fighting for.

thing with Mir i see that guy as a submission specialist not a KO prodigy like Carwin. he got beat couse he got to cocky about his stand up against some one who obviously was a better striker. if he had taken Carwin to the ground it would've been more interesting fight, plus Carwin hands move so freaking fast, the KO came so unspected it made my jaw drop. so of course Mir lost. Hope next time Mir sticks to his ground game.

Absolutely. For some reason having an undefeated record seems to make people think they are untouchable. Look at Bisping, he was fed a bunch of bums for a long time and remained undefeated until he faced some real competition. Now he has been exposed as a mid-carder at best. GSP and MIR are at the elite of their weight class. I believe Mir will also beat Lesnar in their rematch. What do you think?

Hardy has a punchers chance...he hits hard and if he connects he can finish GSP, but that what it was with Alves too...GSP is too well rounded and wont stand up with Hardy for too long, he will win with his usual takedowns and GnP. I think the winner of Koschek vs Daley should fight Paulo Thiago to determine the next #1 contender, or possibly Fitch if he can get past Alves...but I doubt Kos will fight Fitch and I think Alves will take Fitch out anyways

I feel dan hardy is weak and never deserved this fight but for some reason i feel an upset. Also i think carwin wins by ko in first round. Mir tries to stand up and fight his opponents and i think he'll get caught. The ufc needs to bring in a few better fighters and 170, i like boe, i know he just lost to zarkumris but i thought it was a ealry stoppage but this will ultiamtly be a better card then the last 2.

Who did Mir beat for the HW belt?

Be interesting to see how Hardy does off his back or if he shows improved takedown defence. He needs to show big improvements not just to survive this fight but to prove he can stay near the top of the division. If he gets taken down at ease and smashed badly then it may hint at how tough Koscheck and Fitch fights might be for him.

Mir is the biggest disappointment ever. It was like finding out santa claus didn't exist.I can't even be a fan a of him anymore. And GSP dominated but he should have just broke his arm with that kimora instead of playing nice. Fitch dominated but he gotta fuckin end fights, I'm tired of all the decisions he gets. Fight of the night no doubt for me goes to Pellegrino vs Camoes. That was beast!

Hardy has beat some bad ass people? The only person he fought who ws any good was Mike Swick. I'd hardly say winning by decision is beating the shit out of him. We'll see who's laughing when GSP has the title around his waist after the fight.

Its money, the ufc is great at making cash fighters or fights. Look at forrest who lost to jardine and ortiz and beat a injured shogun. They put the chips on him cause fans like him. Just like your saying against bj, if he fought fitch he would get handled and thats bad promoting. Also though i do think gsp would be a better fight simply cause the 170-185 isnt as difficult to make. You wouldnt be surprised if gsp beat silva well at least i wouldnt.

Yeah, it sucks that Fedor will never be in the ufc. If Dana could work out a deal with M1 would be great. I saw Fedor vs rogers and that was a sick ko. I truly believe if Fedor came to the ufc he would clean out the entire HW division. He's not human.

It's one thing to be talented and on another level, but it's a completely different thing to bring that talent with you every time out, Ex: GSP VS Serra 1. 2019 and still George is in the back ground. Unless and until he retires there are people who don't believe the belts mean quite so much without that ultimate test. Dan Hardy is a damn good fighter and an exciting rising star but GSP is on a whole different level There are good fighters, great fighters, and even elite top notch fighters but every now and again you have..... Legend future hall of famers Pierre, Penn, The Spider, The Dragon, Shogun, the Iceman, Couture, Nogueira, Hughes, Ortiz etc... These men have stepped in the ring with the best, even including each other, and dominated. You don't just walk in and beat them without all around skill

What he mean is that u want to be standing up with him. Kind of like with Anderson Silva, u want to be on the ground, not that he has a bad ground game but hes not as strong there.
