Honestly, I died laughing when George said "I have better English than you." I don't know if he was being sarcastic or what. Overall I'm very excited to see this fight. These 2 guys are my favourite Martial artists of all time, and they're the reason I strive to succeed in my training. A lot of my dedication comes from these 2 fighters. Both aren't just fighters, they're professional athletes. Nick has outstanding cardio and George has unmatched conditioning. It will be a great fight

Nick's new nickname should be Nick 'The misunderstood' Diaz. He does keep it real. At first I was not a fan and I thought he was the worst PR for the UFC because I judged him as typical nuisance to society but after careful and deeper thought, he is a good character. He has a good heart. He may not be the most well spoken fighter, I dont know him personally but to me he feels like a loyal, down to earth, he'll stick up for his mates, very private and shy. I know he's misunderstood.

Just because its a decision doesn't mean its a shit fight.. Personally I find it fascinating that he can take every single fighter he faces, who have usually shown to be killers in their title run fights, completely out of their element and dominate them for 5 rounds. Decision or finish isn't relevant to how good he is

I agree. That's his main problem. He would be great as a vilian if he only had the right people around him to market himself that way. However he takes everything so personal with a lack of respect that no one else has ever shown. Even when Tito used to disrespect, at least he knew how to sell it. Nick clearly has personal issues that he has to deal with himself before blaming the world for his misfortunes.

My opinion has really changed on Diaz after listening to this, i guess what most people including myself have forgot is acting a certain way as a fighter can be difficult, you have to build the fight up and say how your going to beat up another person, i genuinley think Nick and Nate have fallen into the act tough middle finger mentality but that doesnt mean they are bad people, its a front and people should reserve judgment until getting to know them for who they really are.

No judgment was implied. In fact I believe in legalization, but since they currently test for it, it's a problem when he gets suspended - and then we don't get to see him fight. I'm glad he's back again and looking forward to Saturday.

Good point on the training my man but there s a misconception about heart in the world of fighting and definitely the mental aspect of it as well Georges plays mental chess with these guys Nick gets under guys skin by the things he says and his antics the mental breakdown is just as important and in some cases more important as the physical breakdown

Nick seems to be living the life of a self defeated man. Its kind of sad really, especially being such a young man. The reality is 10 years from now both will be out of the ring, GSP will go on with a healthy outlook and Nick will still be struggling with whatever demons he possesses.

I saw this by the condit fight, the nick that fought Gsp wasn’t the guy that fought bj penn. I think nick in his prime (scrambling non stop and throwing punches all night) would have done better. Gsp , Anderson, lawler 2 were just for the money imo.
