On episode #5 of UFC 178 Embedded, Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone and Cat Zingano take a break from Fight Week madness with a sunset wakeboarding session on Lake Mead. Back on the Vegas Strip, flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson gets groomed for his headlining role and title defense against Chris Cariaso. When all the fighters come face-to-face at media day, the heated rivalry between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor nearly boils over. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog series focusing on the days leading up to the UFC 178 Pay-Per-View event headlined by the flyweight title bout between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso on Saturday, September 27th.

There's so much going on in this episode. Donald Cerrone wakeboarding the week of the fight, the tension between McGregor and Poirier, the friendship between Cerrone and Johnson. But I forgot all of it when I saw Chris Cariaso's suit. That thing is just mind-blowing, brother. You're fighting on the main event of one of the biggest PPV cards ever, and you don't have the time or money to run to Macy's and buy a suit that is at least close to your size.

It was pretty weird in the media session and the weigh in when Cerrone and Eddie squared off. I don't think Eddie knew how to respond to Cerrone being super relaxed. It looked like he wanted to get himself all amped up but then was like...damn what do I do when my opponent is just standing there grinning at me like he doesn't give a shit. It will be interesting to see how that carries over into the start of the fight. Cerrone should flip a switch and get super intense right before the bell.
