On episode #4 of UFC 179 Embedded, featherweight sensation Conor McGregor enjoys the sights, sounds and people on a Brazilian beachfront. Champion Jose Aldo and challenger Chad Mendes cross paths repeatedly in the hotel and at media events, before finally facing off at weigh-ins. Light heavyweight star Glover Teixeira stays relaxed in his home country as his opponent Phil Davis counts down the days and hours until their co-main event clash. UFC Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog series focusing on the days leading up to the epic UFC 179: Aldo vs. Mendes 2 fight card, taking place Saturday, October 25, on Pay-Per-View.

They're not true MMA fans, just regular people who watch fights and root for brazilians. You can count only one guy from that Q&A who really seems to watch UFC when its not on his city. I felt ashamed for what that crowd said to Conor, as brazilian I must admit that was awful and don't represent the real fans from here. Once these same people crucified Sonnen when he spoke shit of our country (honestly I didn't care because it was just trash talk), and now they're doing the same thing Sonnen did, but not as a fight seller, they're doing as a bunch of idiots.

The die chant sounds a lot worst than it really is. It's like in America, if we say "Jon is gonna get raped." ...Or "Daniel will murder Jon" or "The Lakers are gonna kill the Rockets.". It is not to be taken literally. It's the same with the Brazil chant.

This is why i love Conor, he is such a cool guy outside the octagon, despite the fact that people dont like him cause it reminds them of Chael, at least Conor deliveres and incredible performance every time he promises it. This guy has the right combination of mentality and fight skills to dominate the division and as you can see he has fans everywhere!

weird how passive mendes was at that open workout staredown, allowing aldo to tell him where and how to stand. He doesn't seem confident at all when you see the two together days before the fight. Aldo by KO.

The crowd was probably getting to him, that's why. Shows that he's no championship material, unlike McGregor. That mofo remained cool, calm and collected and he received far more aggression from the crowd.

Can you stop complaining about how disrespectful brazilian fans are and try to understand the cultural difference?When we chant "UH VAI MORRER" of course we don't want Chad to die, that would horrible and the most sad thing that could ever happen in the sport.We just want to support our champion and break the opponent mentally.I'm sure if Chad goes out in the streets of Brazil when he is not fighting people would be superfriendly with him and invite him to dinner or coffe in their houses. The real MMA fans out here know, respect and love fighters from other nationalities.(i personally admire Urijah Faber, Cain Velasquez, Jon Jones)

American fans get butt hurt over anything. Today as a whole America has become feminized with the feminist and gay movements. Never seen so many feminine and emotional dudes in all my life. Back in the day, Americans were macho and rowdy. Today, Americans get offended by any little thing. I've never seen so many Americans get offended by trash talk. You have American fans right now that get offended by Ronda Rousey? And most of them are men. lol The same American fans that were so butt hurt and offended by Richard Sherman trash talking Robert Crabtree. Personally, I love it. I been overseas to Europe and part of South America (Peru) and the pride there for their sports is like none other. Sometimes they do take it to the extreme, but hey that's how it is. Even the military has become soft (including the Marines).

Conor is smart to promote himself and UFC is smart to promote him in this way. Having seen the Aldo wins in both fights, I found he made sure to get an illegal advantage in both fights. grabbing the cage in the first fight and hitting well after the bell in #2. I think Aldo no longer feels he can win without taking an advantage. Chad is a real nice guy and will get another shot.
