Forreal. Juicing is for a fighter trynna get an unfair advantage over their opponent. Smoking weed isn't really gonna do anything. Has nothing to do with a fight. If ur caught juicing then u need to be suspended. But hell let's be honest Dana and everybody knows most people in the ufc juice it's only if u get "caught on a drug test" when something happens. Btw I think Nick won this fight hands down.

How do they excel so much in so many elements such as Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu? Because it's their career. We're all good at our own things.

+Scott Summers I'm an interpreter myself and with proper training you should be able to memorize a whole minute of information at least. Of course ending up translating the highlights is a valid strategy if you miss a thing or two, but a properly experienced interpreter may do the whole job.

Nick Diaz is a regular high school drop out who smokes huge amounts of weed who NEVER tries to be anyone but himself. He has had very little help from anybody outside his own world and has used his undeniable discipline to learn how to fight. He has fought 2 of the worlds most famous pound 4 pound GREATS and has not even for a millisecond come close to being stopped. In a real no time limit fight he more than likely may have won both times. The bloke is unreal, deserves all the respect he gets. I would love to meet you Nick and train with you, and share a Bilge or 2 ha ha. Your a Champ mate!!!!!!

Loved this fight. My two favorite strikers in mma going to war. I hate to see him banned over something so stupid when Dana lets creeps into the UFC all the time. Silva deserved the win. Out for a year comes back and out strikes Nick Diaz. And Anderson had to recover from the leg injury quick using PEDs or this fight wouldn't have happened. Silva is not a steroid abuser. You can't get his elusive technique from PEDs. He fights picture perfect.

Lots of sharp opinions, Diaz stood in front of him, tried to coax Anderson into attacking. It was not a high paced slug fest but it was an entertaining fight, Diaz played an interesting game and showed some of Anderson's weakness. Diaz lost but he just stood in the ring with the Pound for pound greatest fighter on the planet (Supposedly) and did not go down once! Many others have failed to last a single round. Anderson respected Nick and did not finish the fight! No way it was five rounds to zero, why is no one commenting on Anderson's perceived poor performance, if Nick was so bad, why didn't Anderson finish the fight? Anderson looked worse than Nick regardless of the W! I would pay to see it again! Haters are ego driven emotional children. Who lack the skill or balls to stand where Nick did, so go Taylor Swift yourself until your'e hearts content! Diaz best fighter in UFC!

Silva has always been great fighter but taking PED's was very disappointing... but of course Dana White made sure that NO WAY in hell Nick Diaz was gonna beat Silva.!! UFC actually tested Nick for weed??? as if that's gonna help him... BULLSHIT.!!! Micheal Phelps smoked too but wasn't suspended from the Olympics.!!! UFC doesn't like the most entertaining brothers in MMA..... so stupid.!!

he's still responsible & it's still illegal..... he & the doctor know that medication could interfere with sports admission if it's not prescribed properly..... EVERY ATHLETE has known this for years. it only tells me silva just let it slide hoping he wouldn't get caught.!!! so stop makingg excuses for his cheating ass.... he's veteran he knows better than that.!!!

I really don't understand the big deal about Silva and steroids. He had a crippling injury and should have legit retired him. He's over the age of 35 . He had never been caught like Sonnen and Belfort who have been caught numerous times.

Effectiveness was a huge factor in the Condit/Lawler fight. I had Condit winning 3-2 but judges may have, for once, considered the effectiveness percentage based on hits thrown v/s hits landed, which is rarely taken into account in the MMA metrics scoring system. Lawler exceeded Condit by about 7 percentage points in terms of effectiveness, because Condit threw loads and much of that stuff missed or was blocked by Lawler. I'm not an expert in terms of judging a fight, it's a more complicated science than people may think, but I'm ok if they considered effectiveness. In other combat sports like boxing, it is a paramount factor.

I realize Nick has fucked up numerous times with the Marijuana in the past. But come on 5 year ban for it? I hope they take it down to a year like silva which is up now. Silva is my all time favorite fighter and he made a huge mistake and only got a year. Now I know people will be like Silva is a cheat this and that but he had never failed a test until this fight after a terrible injury. So cut him some slack on that. With that said, I feel the same should be given to Nick. Hope to see him back in 2016
