I'm not really a Rousey fan but what Rousey's haters like to forget is that there wouldn't even be women's UFC if it wasn't for her.
@billcipher39468 жыл бұрын
Mike Vizioz yeah but now new women fighters with excellent striking with good takedown defense will dominate her twice already

Your winner and NEW UFC Womens Champion... CM punk
Ronda Rousey has become a legend already in the short few years of MMA women's cage fighting. Any disputation or differing opinion s both puerile and futile. AND, she is still a most attractive lady.

This is the reason why you should always be humble... why be so big headed and over confident and say you will retire undefeated when you can not possibly guarantee it!

WMMA is just sad. Watching Ronda's goofy boxing with her chin in the air and knowing she is dominating everybody is just laughable.

***** HERE WE GO, I am somehow less of a fan because I recognize how horrible the females are? So adorable :) Haven't you recognized the truth yet that EVERYBODY with basic knowledge of MMA knows? Keep up. GOD FORBID I get kicked out of the "true MMA fan" club by newbies like yourself.

@kimoliver05110 жыл бұрын
***** Agree. And rewatch Ronda's fights, when most women get caught in an armbar the ref has to step in to stop the fight because most women won't tap out, even when their arm is completely bent the other way.
@1ceYourPimpHand10 жыл бұрын
***** Because fight of the night is given to the fighters with the most skill? You realize I've seen street fights more entertaining than some UFC fights? Christ, you're dumb. Yeah, call me a "faggot" and expect me to take you seriously.

I think she's a little crazy. It may not be in a good way either. Retire undefeated? If she fights to 35 I highly doubt it. It may be that she has some idea of another 4 or 5 fights or something but if she keeps at it even for just a few more years she'll be beaten. She's a human being and someone will learn how to win against her. Hell, it could be Cat this Sat. She's never faced anyone with striking remotely like Cat's.
@Kudzu70210 жыл бұрын
She will almost for sure retire very young. She's such a super star and has already gotten modeling and movie deals. She could no doubt become a women's mma analyst also. Her career now is a lot more than just fighting and honestly I don't think she has much more to prove in the octagon.
@nitemareman110 жыл бұрын
I mean if it's just money you want, sure she can be a third rate actor and a sort of side show model or whatever, but if you say you're the best in the world and then quit early that's an asterisk as far as I'm concerned. Like Laila Ali learned because no one ever talks about her being great even though she retired undefeated- you can't dodge fights, even by quitting. I say fight. That's where the most money is and even a loss in MMA isn't a big deal as long as the heart is genuine.
@Kudzu70210 жыл бұрын
Fighting is certainly not where the most money is and I really don't know what else you want from her. She's already one of the most dominant champions in mma history and if she defends her title a couple more times I think she should retire. Also, she's going to be remembered regardless of when she retires. Without her, womens mma would not be where it is today.
@nitemareman110 жыл бұрын
It's where the most money for her is. She can make it easier but not as much.
@Bak3dB3an10 жыл бұрын
You take out boxers with kicks to the leg. You take out wrestlers with head kicks. You take out muay thai with judo and jiu jitsu. If Ronda becomes a leg kick expert like cro cop she will be undefeated.

@mfnbigdaddy7310 жыл бұрын

David Ferguson I don't think she was laughing at the girl. I think she was happy to get another win and it happened to come from an area (striking) that she has been working very hard in.

I want to see her in pain .. Rondo needs to be KO'd , Ronda needs to. Feel the pain of armbar .. I will wait for that day . She's on top of the game right now . But someday a bigger and better badass girl will beat her ass . >:)
@mfnbigdaddy7310 жыл бұрын
Arch Gloom She was arm bared and dislocated her elbow twice in the same match in JUDO and still ended up winning the match. So, she already knows the pain of the arm bar. Try not to hate someone you don't even know, you would probably feel better.

The mcmann stoppage was early. The rest were legit wins.
@nicolelea61510 жыл бұрын
GearsDemon I agree that the McMann stoppage was too early, Herb Dean is a good ref but he was being overly cautious in that stoppage. I was hoping that the UFC would have set up this rematch already. While I can't say that McMann would win a rematch, she is a beast and I think she would at least last longer the 2nd go round ... Cat Zigano too for that matter.
@mfnbigdaddy7310 жыл бұрын
GearsDemon Maybe a lil early but in most cases those liver shots end the fight. McMann probably would have had a rematch already had she not lost since then.
