I don't get all the hate on Joanna... People, she's a normal,ordinary girl, these kind of stuff she did at the weightings was just done for show, she's a really good fighter, which likes to do show, and has respect towards her opponents, just quit bitc*ing and watch as Joanna will win the fight :D

Think of your muscles as a sponge. A dry spong is light as a feather where as if you soak a sponge in water it becomes several times heavier than it's normal weight. Our muscles are basically like soaked sponges so when fighters cut weight they are basically taking water out of their muscles similar to how you'd wring out a sponge.
