One of the best cards ive ever seen! Browne VS Arloski was the best 1 round fight ever. Cerrone VS Makdessi was a good fight and surely means Cowboy gets the shot. Weidman VS Belfort shows just how good Chris is. DC VS Rumble was a great fight, didnt know what could of happened. Better fighter won in the end, Rumbles cardio let him down. JON JONES GET YO SHIT TOGETHER, IM WAITING FOR YOU.

i feel like the top 4 in the light heavy weight division are threats to each other. Jones is a threat to DC, DC is a threat to rumble. Rumble is a threat to Gustaffson. Gus is a threat to Jones.

***** don't think he's gonna easily beat any of them considering Gustafsson arguably won the fight and sent Jones to the hospital, DC took him 5 rounds, and Rumble was expected to give Jones the best match. DC was arguably the easiest fight in their meeting Jones has had out of those 3 (or would have had in Rumble's case)

Yuspliff I agree. His cardio was not there. If the fight stayed standing Johnson could of finished the fight in that first round. But DC was smart and implimented his game plan and took home the belt.

I think anybody would be tired after carrying a 215 lb man around on his back all night. That was a very grueling fight. Let's not kid ourselves, yesterday he was a god... one fight doesnt change that. He fought well, it's just that DC has an exhausting style. There is a reason Cormier had that gameplan. If it was predictable, than it doesnt make sense to start questioning his cardio.

Missing d.c fighting. Re watched the fight and now this presser in may 2021. This fight is when Cormier started becoming my guy. Fell in love with the sport while i personally was training in 2010 through 2014 then once I hung the gloves up I fell in love as a fan. I'm so happy d.c gets the love he does now. Back I'm these days he wasn't mma's favorite daddest man on the planet yet

Mr Pravus The thing is, Gus beat Jones (in my opinion), Jones beat Cormier, Rumble destroyed Gus and Cormier beat Rumble. So if you do the math, Gus will wither outwork/ outstrike DC or DC will do the same thing to Gus he did tonight to Rumble. Honestly though, in a rematch I think Rumble will KO DC. And when Jones comes back, you already know he's gonna reclaim his gold no matter who's holding it.

jozsefkacsa No disrespect to DC, but the fact is he tried to take John down plenty of times, without luck. When he finally got him down, he wasn't near as fast as he needed to be to hold him down. It's most likely gonna be the same with Gus. He's also hard to take down, not only cause he's tall, but he's got good take down defence and fast feet. In any case, Rumble showed us that nobody can really compete with him standing as of yet.

Props to both DC and Rumble. They both stuck to their game and DC's just worked better. Rumble's plan was simple: Knock DC out quick. He didn't plan on DC surviving his best shots, so when DC surivived his first round onslaught he really didn't have anything else to give. DC can out wrestle anyone in the division period, which is why even though Rumble is a decent wrestler he knew he could get the win that way. You see throughout the whole fight, Rumble was killing him in stand-up game. Like DC said, if he tried to stand up against Rumble the whole time Rumble would KO him first round so DC took him down and tired him out then got a choke. Great fight from both. I will say this...DC beating Rumble here doesn't take anything from Rumble and it doesn't mean Rumble couldn't have beaten Jones. If that punch that Rumble hit DC with, hit John Jones that man would be KOed clean, especially if he allowed Rumble to continue to throw a barrage at him. Jones likes to do his opponents style. That would've been his downfall against Rumble.

Arlovski vs Travis was such an awesome fight. Was so awesome of a battle, seeing Arlovski's technical ability and his punching speed for a HW is crazy. Then seeing Travis in trouble so many times but being really tough made it more interesting. That was the coolest UFC fight in a while for me. Weidman vs Belfort was pretty decent also.

Damon Hargrave One thing I NEVER understood about fans is how they never saw that Cormier is an instigating BITCH!!! They blamed Jones for their altercation but if you look back on his MMA history you would see that DC has the propensity to do this w/ EVERY opponent... He had beef and a confrontation w/ Barnett, Mir, Nelson, Cummins, Jones and now Bader... The ONLY person who got away w/ out arguments were Hendo and Johnson. Two of the NICEST guys in MMA.

You know the thing about this sport is that some people been watching this sport longer than me, I been watching it for only two years and I don't have to be a scientists or a genius to predict who gonna win and why. I consider being a rookie on this and is so simple to me to see who's gonna be a winner. So many people talking about rumble, rumble, and I knew was gonna be an easy fight for cormier.

Such a great fight glad dc went back to his roots of wrestling he is easily the most technically dominate light heavyweight. His Jones fight let him get the best of him throwing all those wild punches tiring himself . DC vs rumble was great to watch dc take control so quickly

AJ is just class no one gets up there & takes a loss like that. He is so genuine.really hard to dislike the guy. I was hoping for him to get the belt but this could have gone either of 2 ways a K.O for AJ or DC to wrestle the shit out of him. Shame it was the latter.

I like John Makdesi, and will always root for the fellow Canadian (when they're good), but I'm a Cerrone fan until the end and I definitely wanted him to win. I'm glad there was some classy respect between the two. I also noticed how that was one of those VERY rare Tristar vs Jackson fights. Always great respect between those two gyms!

I don't think enough is said about Cerrone. He's a warrior, perhaps the toughest in the UFC. Dude fights great compeition constantly and puts on a show no matter what. Would absolutely love to see a UFC belt around his waist. Tough task though in that division

the arlovski win was by far the highlite of the night. not only was it an amazing round but anyone who follows the game was about as certain as you can be that travis was gonna destroy him. off the charts amazing performance from andre for sure

Johnson is the man, not complaining, has respect thowards Cormier, great attitude, Cormier's attitude and talk proves he's non better than Jones and he's not classy either, I feel sad for Johnson and for the UFC he's taken that belt. But he deserves it, no matter what
