I don't really see why Hendricks has to fight again before getting his title shot. The second fight with Robbie was not without controversy in its decision. My feeling is that the UFC just knows that Robbie is a more marketable champion (especially after that war with Rory), so they want to milk that cow a little bit longer. They've given the fight to Condit, who's been inactive from injury and lost three of his last 5 fights.

If DC implements his wrestling he seems to just look like he's on another level. His mistake against jones was to play standup over wrestling.

DC worked hard his whole life to get where he's at, he deserves to be the champion. Jon Jones needs to stop being a boy, and start being a man who can hold his life together before he can hold a belt. DC is the real champ right now.

Daniel Cormier is maybe cocky but his wrestling is really good and if you saw him against Rumble you could see that Cormier can take some hard punches and still don't get knocked out.

I like both fighters, I Belive Gustafson is a rising Star and will deliver a Victory but anyway this fight goes it will be Amazing

I swear people, misremember DC's fights immediately after they happen. DC DESTROYED Rumble. At least recently, Rumble in-between the 2nd and 3rd round is the most beaten I've seen a fighter during the break(outside of Esparza against Joanna, and Potts vs Derrick Lewis). People just remember the big punch in the first round. In the Jones fight, he clearly won the 2nd round and almost took the 3rd. He gave the best fighter in the world plenty to handle. And for those people who are trying to use Algebra to call this fight(Gus fought him closer, therefore Gus will beat DC), this ain't Algebra. And while it's true that Gus gave Jones his toughest fight(DC is his 2nd toughest) I suspect the Jones that fought DC would beat the Jones that fought Gus 10 outta 10 times. I ain't saying DC's a lock to win, but his haters are crazy irrational, and he should be the favorite. But ultimately, you have to hope UFC booked this fight because they know something about Jon Jones that we don't know. In that case, if Gus wins it's the rematch of Bones toughest challenge or a rematch with DC, the guy who more than anyone else, exposed the real Jon Jones for who he is and not this PR fraud. Either way, I'm happy.

I hope the countdown show brings up the fact that Gus got KO'd in his last fight. And now, somehow, has a title shot. I'd really love to hear them try to justify that.

People keep bringing up the Jon Jones fight, but what people don't talk about is the family problems DC had leading up to the fight. He had a lot on his shoulders with the Family problems and that can really put a drain on your energy and your performance. Taking that into account DC did good to even be able to finish the fight, but still with DC with his family problems draining his energy and performance Jon Jones still couldn't finish him so that shows a lot for DC's will power. I think when Jones and DC hook back up it will be a totally different story than their last fight.

Here's what I think, If Alexander Gustafsson can survive an onslaught from Jon Jones then he can survive one from Daniel Cormier. In terms of wrestling I do think DC will get one or two lucky take down's but that's about it. AG was the first one to take down JJ so I think he'll be very technical and take down DC. DC showed in his last fight he can take a hit so striking will play a part of this fight. DC only got taken down once so we don't really know how his submission game is. My guess is AG is either going to win by decision or by submission. Either way I believe we will have a new Light Heavyweight champion
