UFC and Conor already knew 3 weeks ago that they were going to replace Dos Anjos with somebody else but it wasn't because of his foot injury, it was because they couldn't sell the tickets. More than 60% of the seats at the MGM were still available at the time. They needed a popular draw so the event doesn't go flop. Diaz saved the show but it's fucked up that he only gets 10 days to train for such a high profile fight and the fact that McGregor is really good...
