Conor was actually eating to gain the weight to make 170. He was probably around 155 at the time, preparing to face RDA. He had to make 170 to fight Nate. So it makes sense he was eating the whole time.

I'm Irish and a Conor fan, and I suppose it's good to see a dude from Dublin who came from a working class background now doing unbelievable, but I like Nate too. The non-flashy lifestyle is refreshing after McGregor's lavishness. Get's a taxi, queues up for food haha, has a chat with a few people. At the end of the day though he's going to war. It should be a good fight and he's receiving a massive payday. Still routing for McGregor though. Irish blood!!!

I think fighting at featherweight again after the Nate Diaz fight will be the toughest fight of McGregors career. As a welterweight he might cut like five pounds to make weight, and he can cut that in a few hours. As opposed to starving himself for weeks to make 145.

I think everyone gets so focused on Conor's personality and lifestyle and they forget how hard this guy works. I'm sure perhaps after UFC 200 if healthy he will take some time off. Nevermind who he fought or how they ended etc. It's beyond amazing to see an athlete in any sport make this kind of money in basically 3 yrs and 7 fights. Sorry boxing not even Mayweather had this good of a start

+Gustavs Strazdins Yep, considering she took care of him when he was chasing his dream and he had no money. She would buy his food, cook for him and help him.

+Gustavs Strazdins she's got an incredible life for sure but any body else would proberly get tired hearing about Conor this and Conor that every single second. That's all that Conor talks about is him self.
