For anyone who wants to know all this Ariel Helwani shit, he tweeted out that he, along with two of his reporter-friends were escorted out and told that they were banned for life from all future UFC events. There has been no clarification as of this time to what exactly happened, but it's highly likely that it's because Ariel broke the news first that Lesnar was returing for UFC 200 (after Dana White had said he wasn't in an interview, a few days prior to that).

My feeling is that Silva in his prime would have beat Bisping, Rockhold and Weidman, all these brand new champs easily. None of these elite fighters would have even posed a threat to the Spider. Im pretty sure he would literaly would have walked thru them. I see no current fighter sporting his speed, timing, accuracy, creativity and superior psychology in the octagon and persona. For me, this sport is a lil' bit more boring with him gone (Silva in 2015-16 does not count, his injury put an end on his majestic mastery and outstanding legacy). He was just immense in the cage, his superiority over the rest was not seen before. His only rival was shown to be himself, his egomaniac personality and self-sense of superiority ended up costing him his career.. Lord if only he have not fooled around and exposed his chin against Weidman in that damned first bout.. He was too good even for himself to stand.. Sad end.

I aplaude the change on how they're weighing-in fighters the day before. Much more time to rehydrate, safer environment for everyone involved, and boy did it translate into a better night of fights! Win, win, win.

I've never been a Bisping fan - I've always viewed him as a journeyman who was destined to meet Faber's fate or something. Even now, I am pretty sure whoever he fights next is taking that belt, but when I heard him talk about why he fights and what he's sacrificed, I can't do anything but respect that. Live it up, champ.
