I have to say - I never really liked CM Punk that much as a pro-wrestler. But his character has really shined over all these documentaries. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. The guy is taking a chance in life and I can respect that. I don't think he has a chance of beating Mickey Gall, who's a genuine BJJ brown belt. But if he even puts up a decent performance - that will say a lot for his dedication and work ethic. He got a lot of hate at the start when he first announced he was joining UFC, but I think now - people are starting to warm to him.

People can say what they want but it shows how much CM Punk wants this. He's in the best shape of his life, dropped like 30lbs from training. Trains 3 times a day, each clip they show he looks better and better. Even if he doesn't win, it's gonna be a good fight. He picked a serious team to train with, and it shows in his progress over the last 2 years. He knows this is real, he knows this is a fight, and I'm hoping he shows up and proved the haters and doubters wrong, that he can do this.

Yeah, whatever the outcome it will be all good unless he gets completely embarassed, which seems unlikely. He isn't taking training lightly and seems very intelligent, could be very mentally tough too.. if shit goes bad but he doesn't quit, it could rattle Gall, which would be pretty epic if Punk then catches him and wins. Gall has to be a huge favourite though, and the pressure is really on him not to get embarassed. Punk pretty much can't lose at life, seems like a cool, no bullshit guy.
