On Episode 6 of UFC 212 Embedded, strawweight opponents Claudia Gadelha and Karolina Kowalkiewicz preview their upcoming fights and then face off at media day; interim champion Max Holloway and featherweight champion Jose Aldo both reveal their plans for keeping the belt; and former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz joins the festivities. Holloway gets in a final training session with teammate and fellow fighter Yancy Medeiros, while Aldo relies on the trust he has in longtime coach Andre Pederneiras as he cuts weight. Gadelha and Kowalkiewicz' weight cuts go smoothly, and all of the fighters hit their target numbers at Friday's official weigh-in. Later in the day the competitors have one final faceoff in front of fans before fight night. UFC 212 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to featherweight title unification bout at UFC 212: Aldo vs. Holloway, taking place Saturday, June 3 on Pay-Per-View.

Marvin Jaramillo Yeah, he lost it to McGreggor, but where is the new champ huh? So that division should be closed now or what? McGreggor was a champ in 2015. In 2017 he is NOTHING. Atleast Aldo keeps fighting. He lost only to the guy who doesnt come back, so yeah, Aldo is still the champ!

McGregor's running, nobody gives a fuck. Aldo has literally tried everything even going up weight to fight that guy and he keeps running from everyone, not just Aldo. So as far as UFC fans, not McGregor fanboys are concerned, Conor is is not a factor, Aldo is the champion. Nate gave McGregor his rematch, Conor cant do the same for Jose but wants to walk around champ champ champ. Fuck that. Even Joanna gave a Claudia a rematch, Jon Jones/Comier, Cruz/Garbrandt... the list goes on. Only McGregor is dodging matches and wont give a rematch. We know the fight eneded in a great knock to the chin but for all we know Aldo got caught. Garbrandt, Cruz was more of a decisive fight and they're doing it again. Like a true champ Garbrandt want to prove that Cruz wasnt a fluke. Conor on the other hand will live off that k.o. and milk it dry so will his drunk low IQ Irish supporters

Great athlete, great fighter, undoubtedly one of the greatest for the featherweight division, but not the true champion anymore. His current belt is a joke and an insult to the whole division, and even to his own legacy. Even Max Holloway interim title is a truer belt. Until McGregor decides to come back to featherweight or to officialy leave the division, they're all interim champions.

I just cannot see Holloway be denied. Since his last defeat with Mcgregor he has put together a streak indicative of a superstar.that has now passed Mcgregor's streak. Aldo has been inactive making it hard to truly evolve and the devasting KO loss to Mcgregor fresh on the minds of many observers. Holloway took Mcgregor to the limit and could have gone his way in a 5RD fight.
