Featherweight Brian Ortega adjusts to the chilly Las Vegas weather, and bantamweight Cat Zingano embraces her return to fight week. In the host hotel, Cyborg crosses paths with opponent Yana Kunitskaya, who quickly leaves to try on her fight gear. Bantamweight Sean O'Malley occupies himself with a video game, and his teammate, strawweight Mackenzie Dern, arrives for her first taste of the UFC. Featherweight Frankie Edgar and Kunitskaya both work out at the UFC's high-tech Performance Institute. UFC 222 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the women's featherweight championship bout at UFC 222 on Saturday, March 3 on Pay-Per-View.

Tons of people around you would have to speak like that and Brazilians don't speak english. And even if everyone around her spoke english with this accent, she would be able to switch and use her original accent. The only reason brazilians have an accent is because they learned it as a second language beyond their teens.

Do the embedded cameraman live in the airports? The majority of the shots seems to be off the fighters walking onto the plane, walking through the terminal area, walking near the baggage area .. look into it.

nads bonkers It is not just one crew filming these. Each fighter has their own crew following them around. From their home, during flights and during all fight week. See when they are interviewing Yana and Cyborg arrives on the backround? And then they show Cyborg's cameraman perspective 😉

Accents ONLY happen when you are RAISED with that language... Yeah sure if your 34 and you pick up Mandarin Chinese and you live there you MIGHT have a small accent but if you move back to America itll be gone within days..... Also... If you are not using a language day in and day out you will NOT have an accent... Ever listened to old Filipino ladys in America and there accents are thick? Cause they are old school and use alot of tagalog at home and on the phones... Where their grandkids use English more and Ive noticed Filipino accents leaving the young ones these days......

So this chick fighting Cyborg has never fought at 145 before.....So UFC still has a make believe division for Cyborg. They literally only have cyborg on their roster as the only 145 pounder.

my point is if you pull up the 145 women's division roster on the ufc site there is 4 people. Cyborg and Megan are really the only true 145ers...Megan still hasn't fought. There is literally no point in having this division. The only other 145 pound match up that's happened was Holly and GDR, both are really 135ers.

Used to hate Cyborg when Rousey was painting her as a roided out cheater. However the more I watch these embedded episodes and Cyborg's fights the more I like her. She seems down to earth and humble. Despite her not being the most attractive woman fighting she's quickly becoming my favorite. Definitely a better representative of the women's division than Ronda Rousey ever could be.

Mackenzies fake accent isn't the problem so much as her speaking broken English like a foreigner.. she grew up in Arizona. You can pick up an accent but to start speaking English like that when she used to sound like a normal white American girl is bizzare.. KZbin Mackenzie dern accent to see the change.
