Dana is everyone's dad in the UFC. He may be quick to judge but I heard from numerous fighters that Dana was always there for them. Fight get a cancelled and he's quick to try a reschedule for both fighters. Yes money is involved but you also invest a lifetime into it so it's hard to not be close to some employee's

Exactly, and it wasn't even a beat down like that. I read comments before watching that fight expecting to see Francis beaten to a pulp, bloody and almost being finished, barely surviving each round. Instead I'm like, ok Francis is definitely lost on his back, and was dominated.... but damn Stipe couldnt finish him even in the 4th of 5th? lol No wonder he thinks he can win a rematch, whether he will or not. He didnt have a scratch on him.
