Chris Papadopuniger yea man that was very impressive by Jones. First time I watched it I thought Cormier was beating him and setting the pressure. Watched it a second time and you can see Jones is setting up that kick like an assassin. I think Cormier could beat Jones tho in a 5 round fight

What do u see happening ? I can’t see anything but jones beating smith badly. There’s levels to MMA and u can see the difference. Jon is way above the rest of division. Gus is under jon but also he is the clear cut 2nd best 205er now that DC gone. Hope him the best but it’s hard to be excited for a fight knowing one persons chance is hoping the other isn’t at his 100% best n makes a mistake.

@Craig Yates Are you saying he has the height advantage? Because they're both 6'4", Jones might be able to use his height better, but that's gonna be hard when you're the same height as your opponent. I agree with Anthony not being able to close the distance good that's why I said in my other comment I believe he will side step when Jones closes the distance then unleash hell. One can hope. I love upsets. It really furthers the sport in my opinion because it reinforces the notion that anything can happen.

Smith is raw power. But Jones is very technical. What I saw in the first Gus v Jones fight was that Gus pushed and pressured Jones, and gave Jones a hard time. Smith should do the same and he will have a chance, but Jones is in his prime. If he doesn't take peds.

Jones' biggest weakness is his boxing. People forget how much Cormier was boxing up Jones before the head kick; he just couldn't finish because he didn't have the reach to do it. Anthony Smith has BOTH the power and reach

If I requested trial by combat and needed someone for fight for my life. It would be Jon Jones hand down. The guy will poke your eyes, stamp your thighs, hit and run, take steroids... someone dropped a pencil in the octagon he’d pick it up and stab you to death. This guy will do anything to win a fight, I honestly can never see him losing. He’s cut from the same cloth as mayweather: arrogant, selfish, uncompromising, villain... a guy who’ll always have haters because for him it’s not about the respect, honor , dignity of the sport... it’s about winning. Jon Jones can still cement s legacy as one of the greatest ever, regardless of steroid usage because in most instances we forget the past and focus on what you've done lately if he stays clean and goes undefeated for the rest of his career it'll convince some that he was great with or without the help.
