i'm not rooting for henry. but i dont understand why everyone hates him. i think people dont like him because he's not cocky, but he still wants to underline his accomplishments. its a strange thing. when conor speaks about how he destroys everyone and that he's the best and double champ etc. etc. he still had a ton of fans. whereas henry, people dont like him because he mentioned a couple of times his gold medal. i mean thats an incredible achievement, but people would accept it more if he was cocky. i dont understand peoples psychology.

Gwiz should have been a draw. I don’t think either of them deserved a win. I am not too mad at the decision though I can see how with 5 takedowns to 0 by DJ the judges could justified giving it to Henry. The problem is we don’t have draws enough even in cases when draws are well deserved ie. Jones vs Gustafson 1, McGregor vs Diaz 2, Whittaker vs Romero 2, etc.

Cejudo won rounds 2,4,5, Henry outstruck DJ in head strikes, had the takedowns, and was controlling the fight, DJ striking stats are heavily padded due to leg kicks and a few body kicks judges will always side with head strikes and takedowns over leg kicks Henry won and watching it I thought it was obvious he toke 3 rounds

I remember all the controversy around that fight, that Cejudo never beat DJ seems it all went away. The mma community had short attention span, people barely remember UFC 229.
