I love Stipe and Dc both great role models great dudes and true hard working champions. Love the match up love to see them fight but hate that one has to lose. The funny thing is though if Stipe would have won Brock Lesnar would have came in the cage like planned regardless and done a promo with him and he would have been all over that big money fight as well with a new daughter on the way instead of fighting a Derick Lewis or something especially if he KO’d Daniel first round lol. Brock even targeted Stipe in his promo with DC. A lot of champs that haven’t even defended have got undeserving rematches and he deserves it being how dominant he was but even he down deep can’t knock DC for weighing out that Brock opportunity first to feed his fam longer term because he would have too. I do think he should have took one fight once DC was booked with the beast because if you are the best and know U deserve that rematch u go out and prove it at least once! Especially if he’s booked. It’s one thing to wait while he waits on Brock.
