Saunders was fun to watch early in his career but he's slowed down quite a bit. He's not the same fighter anymore. I'm surprised he hasn't been cut by the UFC. Lost 5 of his last 6 all by finish, 4 by KO/TKO. Some really brutal finishes. He just seems too slow now. Father Time is undefeated. I think Matt Brown is going to hurt him bad.

@Ross Geller, PhD Matt Brown might be older but he isn't nearly as slow as Saunders and is way more competitive in his fights even against better competition. Brown also hasn't fought in 2 years and taken the abuse in that time that Saunders has. They are both old but Brown is less worn down.

Lets go Killa Bee baby🙌🏾 ...but wasn’t Bruce Lee like 9 years old when Gene Lebell fought some boxer (Milo or Miles) and it was televised in the 50’s as the word Mma was not yet a phrase but wasn’t this pretty much an Mma bout?? No disrespect to Lee and not his fault but American Hollywood created that whole thing and the rest is history. This would be like saying Tony Hawk invented skateboarding😂

Justin Winter just did a few hours of research and saw Lee was born in like 1942..he would have been about 10 years old when Gene Lebell fought that Boxer in Utah. Looks like Lee grew up in and around theatres and movie screens etc..everything we see is choreographed and staged. Jeet Kun Do I guess is an idea that is use anything that works and have no from be formless. Unfortunately there was no proving ground for him to show anything besides kata’s and point tournaments. Did some research abt JiuJitsu and looks like Helio Gracie was engaging in “no holds barr’d , Vale Tudo or MMA” events in the 1950’s..again Lee would have been a child. Gracies did not invent JiuJitsu but revolutionized the sport to adapt to actual combat. From what I have gather’d the Gracie family was engaging in actual combat while Lee only spoke about it and did it on set with willing opponents.

@@alexquintana1031Jeet Kune Do is a concept not a specific martial art. Bruce Lee embraced this philosophy; Absorb what is useful; "discard what is useless and add what is specifically your own". If that does not describe what we now call Mixed Martial Arts. I'm not sure what does. Google is a hell of Drug, Alex Quintana. You can also find many videos of Bruce Lee training Jiu-Jitsu, Western Boxing etc.. Although he his known for Wing Chung. I have studied his philosophies for over 2 decades. If you go back far enough I'm sure you will find more examples of individuals pitting 2 separate skill sets against one another. I never once said he invented what you claim. Again, I'd recommend you actually read something; perhaps Tao Of Jeet Kune Do. 🙏

Justin Winter well I am actually a participant and train the same gym lineage as Ben Saunders😂 I prefer to physically engage in this knowledge rather than read about ideas. I skateboard also and have found that going out and doing it is more effective than pondering about it.
