Barely a minute left. Nobody on the planet had Tony up on points. Tony would have refused to go out and been needlessly pummeled. Great stoppage. Wish they’d waiting another 3-5 seconds for the prior stoppage. 90% sure Henry was going to complexity put him out but I just don’t like that he was getting to his feet instead of turtling

I love tony but that was a good stoppage. He could’ve died in there. He took so many power shots over and over. Not even stunned or anything but after the 60th power left..... it was enough to stop the fight. It was getting dangerous for his health. Yes he’s a warrior but nobody wants a fighter to die in there. Great stoppage Herb

Messed over? He pulled out of the Khabib fight twice? Nobody messed anything. He refused to take a fight for over a year hence why Porier and Holloway fought for the Interim belt, so this myth that he kept on taking fights is bullshit. Fair play he took this fight, but he was absolutely outclassed from start to finish. Fact of the matter is, the one guy he fought who isn't a perfect match up for him, whooped his ass. Same thing happens versus McGregor and Porier.

We have never seen Justin's ground game and takedwon defense tested, and we've never seen khabib knocked down, what makes you think Justin is the guy? Dustin did great against Khabib and was as close as we have seen Khabib lose and it wasn't his striking, it was a guilotine attempt.

The fights on this card were brilliant! There is so much excitement on the amazing possibilities of fights to come for the rest of 2020, and into 2021. I hope Cowboy takes a rest for a bit. Khabib's ground is still to powerful for Gaethje, but a Gaethje vs Conor fight would be crazy! It would be awesome if Nate would stop the puff for the short term and train train train for a respectable matched fight, maybe Poirer. Pettis is also right there improving ready for more. Wonderboy needs a fight! So many options for great fights. Too bad Masvidal won't fight Khabib. I wonder if Masvidal would step down to meet Gaethje? I'm just rambling.. So many good fights on the way lol. Bla bla bla..

split - early stoppage - marlon - early stoppage. cejudo is a beast, but his wins are somewhat lucky
@Ironfangzu
@Ironfangzu 4 жыл бұрын
Lucky? I'm not a Cejudo fan and honestly I was rooting for Dom to win. But he was getting his ass handed to him by Cejudo. Triple C was faster, stronger, super well prepared, and in another round or two he would have turned Dom into a cripple with those vicious leg kicks. That stoppage just saved Dom from a more vicious beating. He literally could not do anything at all against Cejudo. Couldn't hit him, couldn't avoid being hit, and had zero chance of taking him down to the mat. It was a really legit win by Cejudo.
@derailedtrain2517
@derailedtrain2517 4 жыл бұрын
@@Ironfangzu yes indeed. but still, the last few punches looked the least effective and he was getting up, when he got up the ref jumped inbetween. Yes 13 unanswered strikes, you can call it, but I don't think those punches landed like cejudo claimed "he went limp" which was definately not the case when someone gets up. the dillashaw fight was early too, but many unanswered shots as well, but still, early. lucky also refers to having had the right judge in his split against DJ which started all this.
