I'm glad to see Cody training somewhere else right now cause even though him and Faber are boys and TAM is his team, he still realizes that the bridges that Urijah Faber burned aren't conducive to his growth and one thing I have noticed and it's very essential to Cody's progress is that when he was throwing his punches he always kept a hand up and he used to drop his hands. When his uncle (boxing coach) used to work with him it seemed he never told Cody to keep a hand up when striking but Mark Henry probably told him that. How he lost both fights to TJ was due to lack of defense because the first fight when TJ entered the pocket that was the chance Cody was waiting for but couldn't capitalize cause he couldn't keep a hand up. Second fight, the same thing occurred. He's quick, fast, athletic and a hard hitter and his defense is his only problem.

Ever since that victory over Dominick have been a fan a big fan. To beat one of my favourite fighters ever from UFC in such style was amazing tbh. Obviously he has had some bad losses since. Hopefully he has got a bit more better in defence and knows his chin isn't the strongest, also learns to be a bit more patient even if he has someone hurt. But still maintaining that confidence showboating style when he can/should. He's got great boxing skills and footwork, probably so of the most high level in his weight tbf. Keen as for this fight, Raphael Assuncao coming off a few losses also. Good match up and fight.
