Antonina switched over to mma from pro kick-boxing later than Valentina.. She's still learning the game, and with more time, she could reach Vals level.

Antonina is Master of sports and 12x Muay Thai champion. There is nobody in 115, 125 or 135 who can strike with her. Ones her takedown defence gets on point, it will be hard for the rest of the division to deal with her.

@Micky Banks Valentina's grappling is underrated. Just like McGregor's. The reason I compare these too is because their striking is so supreme to everyone else's that they don't really use the grappling. Even though Valentina has a few submissions including an easy one against John Danaher's student. I think that's intentional that all workout videos of Valentina show her striking, but I am sure she also puts hours on the mat grappling.

@Micky Banks I don't think it wold matter even if Maia can take down Valentina. Chookagian thought she'd have the advantage on the ground with her Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, but look how easily Valentina got her in that mounted crucifix. Valentina's grappling is highly underrated.
