All respect to Izzy he didn't have to do this he could've just ran through another middleweight for fun but he challenged himself and failed what's good is that he's taking it on the chin. I don't think Izzy would win a rematch tbh. Jan had his number and Izzy winning would require for him to change his style drastically. Jan outstruck him early with the jab and Jan's defense was impeccbale(whenever he bit on feints he bit backward, and he checked every leg kick and parried a bunch of punches). Jan's power didn't really play a role and I think even if they were the same weight Jan would have won. Keep in mind Jan fatigued earlier due to his greater size and then incorporated grappling in the later rounds(right after the one round Izzy won, Jan's output slowed considerably in the 3rd)

As a Pole and a supporter of Jan Błachowicz, hereby I pay respect to Israel Adesanya- for his great class both as a fighter and a human being that is shown simply in his behaving in relation to Błachowicz- before and especially right after the fight and on this conference. That behaviour, that what he can say about his opponent after being defeated- is a true greatness. God bless you and your family, Mr. Israel Adesanya, all the best- in your sport career and private life.

@@Merlinthehappypig he is 6 4 but the way weight classes work in how much you weigh. James vick was 6 3 and a lightweight. Israel made 183 for his last fight. Just saying he is tall and has the reach but weight wise he isn't big and went up and took a challenge. Peace .

Alot of fighters let their first loss define them. Izzy is clearly taking this in stride and as a learning opportunity, that will benefit him greatly in the future. Also I love that he is the star fighter on his team, but that he intricately watches his teammates fight and can give details of their fights, that's awesome.

Great role model... Yeah right, first off he humiliated his opponent Costa after KOing him and before the fight accused him of doing PEDs and then showing up with gyno himself. Not to mention all the petty shit with him and JJ that he starter just because Jones said that he is good but not close to him, after the mma media kept compering Izzy to JJ.
