@@Diamondintherough22 I disagree. it’s sad you feel that way. African Americans lost a lot of their culture and traditions because of slavery, oppression, and racism. Look at the impact African Americans have had on American culture. Our influence on sports, fashion, dialect, entertainment, and not to mention hip/hop- rap being the # 1 music genre. Imagine if we had equal opportunity from the start. There’s much more to us than just our color. The joke was funny asl tho lol

@@Diamondintherough22 People like Ngannou, Izzy, Usman et al could and do actually call themselves Africans. They're born there. Some, like Usman, have grown up here; but others, like Ngannou, has only arrived a few years ago, still with families in Africa. But, yes, Black Americans do right have the right to call themselves "African Americans," like Asian Americans or European Americans etc... because that's where their direct ancestors were from. Genetically, Asians and Europeans also descended from ancestors from Africa; but we are not able to directly trace our lineages there, since it's been 50,000 to 70,000 plus since most of our ancestors left Africa... with mutations that have genotypically and phenotypically distinguished us from our African-born ancestors...

@@Daniel-xu1xc That's still missing the point. If Johnson, Gus or Oezdemir beat DC people would shut out about the fake champ nonsense. DC had the belt because he was the champ if he earned it.
