He is likable. But I have doubts about this charity he runs. He gives some $ to his community but then a good chunk of the cash goes to Uganda. It’s hard to check these charity project that are happening on the other side of the world. I’d have more trust in him if he was applying all the funds to his local community where it can be seen and finances can be easily checked.

Conor's ankle was already fractured many seconds ago even before Conor fell down and Conor haven't realised that his ankle was shattered but Dustin already said that he felt his kick cracked Conor's leg. Dustin should have told the refree that he felt Conor's leg was shattered so that refree would have stopped the match before it is too late. Imagine if Dustin landed that brutal kick to Conor's ribs and Conor haven't realised his rib was already broken and if Dustin keeps punching his ribs then it is instant death. Some sensor chips should be kept on the body that should measure pulse rate and bone fractures and if the pulse rate goes beyond the safe limit or if any bone cracks then it should show signal with LED lights on the body so that the refree can stop the match. I had collar bone fracture after my bike crashed and after 20 seconds I realised that it was fractured because the pain comes after many seconds. First it happened to Anderson Silva. In this sport, which is work for fighters, the time to earn money is limited. So shit on role model and all that stuff. He makes at least 20 million per fight and makes sure that his family never has to work again. In twenty years no one gives a fuck if you were the nice respectful sportsman. Best example jose aldo was unbeaten for 10 years they all called him goat and who gives a fuck about him today? There are new fighters, you get defeated and older and new fighters are chosen as the goats that is the passage of time. Connor will still be remembered for eternity not because he was the best fighter but because he brought the ufc to where it is now because he opened the gate for mma fighters to earn good money because he makes mma popular all over the world.

The Immorality of American Combative sports. (MMA and Boxing) Dear fight fans, I understand how entertaining this sport may be to you, But The Lord Jesus Christ taught us to love all people and to hate violence. In His eyes, cheering for another human being to be kicked in the face, or given a bloody nose, or a black eye, being “knocked out.” Is extremely wrong. He feels that it is extremely wrong to take pleasure in seeing a person being given a bloody nose or black eye. For these reasons dear brothers and sisters, MMA and boxing the father despises, and considers as evil or wicked. And i am sorry to say it, but he is right. Dustin has looked increasingly stronger in every fight. He dominated the 1st round which was Connors only round he had a hope of winning. 4th fight is pointless

One of few who truly evolves and gets better. Why I've always watched his bouts. Since that mounted triangle. Straight haus DDP.

True, i was very surprised when he clipped conor in the stand up.

Not for Poirier's wallet he's earned the fat checks. Let him have as many as he wants imo

I think Conor won the fight until the grappling and the grappling happened after half the round ( i think?). Are you one of those oldschool mma fans who thinks the guy on top is winning?

Dustin has become my favorite fighter of all time after this weekend, and for no other reason than he’s truly someone you can look up to, respect, competent, and a great role model and leader for young men and women. He will probably never read this amongst the thousands of other comments, but, “ sir, well done. “

I love how Dustin checked the reporter after he called Olivera “some guy who happens to have the belt”. Olivera is a very dangerous yet one skinny harmless looking guy. Easy to underestimate but boy does the man know how to fight!!

I don't know how people like connor. such a dirtbag. Poirer has been always been classy
@danielmcgrath6803 жыл бұрын
@@rightersbloc because he used to not be a dirtbag. He was just a confident poor kid with a point to prove, a chip on his shoulder and a need to provide for his family. He was good at the trash talk, so he used it. Now he’s using the trash talk to just be a POS. He’s making it personal. Talking about killing him, talking about his wife. All the words exchanged with Khabib, trying to jump him with 20+ guys, talking about his father, fighting old men in bars, not donating to charity out of spite. I used to have a lot of respect for Conor, but he’s not good person anymore.
@xDeadEye13 жыл бұрын
This is why I respect the shit out of Poirier. He doesn’t like the talking, doesn’t care to fight in front of fans or not, he just likes to fight. Like the way it should be.

The sad thing is Conor is not on Dustin level and he will never beat him again.The first fight Conor won was mainly due to the fact that he was in dustin's head and DUstin was hurt from the weight cut.Dustin is better fighter,always been and always will.
