It doesn’t get enough recognition because some people are so brainwashed by Mcgregors antics.

@-John-Doe- 3 жыл бұрын
@@drzedd5212 sometimes I think there are people who really believe that Conor McGregor is secretly the best fighter on the planet, and every loss must be a fluke. They can’t accept that... Dustin is ranked ahead of Conor because he KO’d him a few months ago and then dominated him again. It’s almost like they want to correct his record so that he’s undefeated... If you point out that there are _a lot_ of very good fighters in the division... and Conor has beaten... _Eddie Alvarez and Nate Diaz by majority decision..._ and those two aren’t exactly the best fighters, then you’re a hater. For some reason you don’t see these same _’fans’_ clamoring for Eddie Alvarez’s rematch with Conor.

Ya its a sign of growth and maturity. Part of martial arts training is overcoming your mind. His mind defeated him the first fight. He was fighting with anger and wasnt present in the moment. Now Porier is such a master at fighting. He is 8-1 facing in his last 9 facing the best in the world

The best thing about Dustin is not what he does in the fight, it is how he carries himself through life as well as fights. A true inspiration for all people, and someone that I hope everyone respects and looks up to. Godspeed Dustin, and thank you for fighting the Good Fight.

You might want to use spellcheck next time but what can I expect from Dustin Poirier fan? Connor does what he does to sell fights. Money McGregor broke his own ankle so don't give your boy credit for that he broke it kicking Dustin and it was broken for a couple of minutes while he tuffed it out cuz he's a warrior. I know you only understand what you see, but there's a lot of layers to it and that fight was far from over until Conor broke his own ankle. Oh and one more thing Dustin Poirier plays this pretty boy goody two shoes guy but he's a shit head dirt bag just like you think Conor is so get your facts right!

Poirier deserves his title shot and I believe will win. Let him be on top. Let Conir come back and see if he still has it. If he dosnt want to fight anymore because that drive is gone then just go away. But dont chase stupid fights with manny just for money. If he wants to fight. Get out there and fight in your sport. But good job Poirier. A win is a win. And deserves his shot. Let his family see him raise his hand in victory as undisputed champ.

Poirier is better in mind, body and spirit. Conor represents the degradation of our era in sports. There is no sportmanship only showing off, money, trashtalk, disrespect and superficiality. Poirier represents the sportmanship originating from ancient greece and olympic games. Sports is not only about winning the competition it is about sculpting the mind and soul, making them more elegant, sensitive and "evolved". Poirier is truly a diamond. I wish modern media promote athletes like him more and the values they represent.

McGregor didn't break an ankle. He broke the bottom portion of his shin called the tibia. If you go back to around the 4:40 mark of the fight Dustin does do a lazy sort of sloppy check to a low leg kick & just as he says...smiles & points down at CM's leg. So some type of damage occurs. There's no way...or very little way anybody can completely break their shin from a misstep or bad plant w/out their being damage already in place.

Neither of them are intimidated by the other, neither one is psyched out, neither one is doubting themselves, neither one is going to back out of the fight due to the other guys words. It’s stupid. And let’s be clear, you’re not going to war. These are professional, sanctioned fights, with rules that must be followed, not some free-for-all brawl with weapons in a back alleyway somewhere. Nobody’s leaving the ring in a bodybag.

One surgery adding a titanium rod to Conor's ankle and he'll be ready to fight in under a year. Poirier fights Oli, and Conor fights either of them after winning a tune-up fight in his return, which sets him up as a contender. The fourth matchup against Poirier occurs at the championship level, with Conor either the champ or as the contender. Even if he fails this route and decides to retire from MMA, he'll still have options in the boxing world. A huge fight against Manny or a KZbin star, perhaps. He ll be cashing it in for years to come, and Lord knows you'll watch.

Chad Mendez deserved a rematch as he was whipping Conor's ass before he gassed out. Conor have him no rematch even though Mendez fight him in 2 weeks notice. McGregor's record is just 10-4 in the UFC. Adesanya had to win 12 straight before they started thinking about putting him in title contention. Conor had only won a single fight at 155 lbs.
