@@jesperpetersson6698 I get your point. But for someone who is headlining a title card for the first time in his life, fighting for the title so young in his career, this is actually a big deal. Other sports do have players and teams who win under pressure but there are others who crumble it. The ones who manage to win under pressure may mostly consist of experienced players and fighters. Even in MMA the same happens. I think winning under pressure must be praised regardless of how frequent they are. It's not easy to do.

Gane and Ngannou were found by the same coach, he built both of them from day one. Francis was homeless in France when he strolled in there. Their coach turned both of these guys into champions in a few short years. According to the gym, Francis forgot about them the second he got some money and fame. But now both of them will face each other for the heavyweight strap. It’s like a movie and the UFC has yet to tell this story.

I do not know how fast I would be to credit the coach of a heavyweight. Depends... I can't attest to what was said in terms of most heavyweights just are what they are. You can try to coach them, but we all know most heavyweight fights look unprofessional and no different than if someone set one up in their back yard. Heavyweights like Gane and Ngannou are big, hard punchers... I mean how much are you seeing from Ngannou that would be coaching. He is STILL uncautiously throwing haymakers. Watch a replay of ANY of his fights and you will see in slow motion HOW MANY times his punches aren't remotely near the opponent, but yet are thrown in bunches non the less.

Tough call... to say best chance... maybe being there isn't MANY other chance to choose and eliminate from. Jones would be more qualified obviously just on talent alone. Gane is tactical, but unfortunately, notice part is leaning on Lewis, well he CAN'T lean on a bigger, thicker Ngannou. So if Gane has any chance, he absolutely can NOT use the style he used to win this one.

Out of Francis, Stipe, Jones and Gane, Jones is the most skillful and has the most experience but he is also currently the worst of the 4 fighters so I def think Gane can beat Stipe and Jones. Heavyweights are usually big idiots with a hard punch and throw buffets of punches without regard while fighting. Gane could have been like other idiotic Lewis opponents and take your shot at luck in a punch exchange... with Blaydes ALMOST winning that his with Lewis. And not the "almost" when they say "almost doesn't count" ... this was the almost as in Lewis was half way asleep when he got lucky.
