Gane is such a likeable guy. But Francis has such a great story. The media hypes it up as drama but these two guys genuinely have respect for each other. Even from the face-offs you can tell that they like each other. Just two professionals going to work, can't wait for Saturday night!

This fight shows the overall evolution of the ufc. The fighters of today are ten times better than the fighters of 10-15 years ago and this fight shows it. Now imagine what these fighters would look like ten years from now.

He looks an order of magnitude sharper and healthier than I thought possible, given how badly he looked a few days ago, when he was in the process of cutting weight. That means the guy will likely be optimally strong, when he's rehydrated back up to 95% of his normal strength tomorrow, during the fight... Skill wise, they're more or less equal; but if Figgy doesn't have power, he has no chance Moreno. With power, however, he's going to be very hard to beat, even for the technically better Moreno.

just to be clear franis is 257 pounds meaning 116kg 18.3 stones and that means even if moreno and figueiredo stood on the scales together they'd weight 250 pounds meaning franics would still have 7 pounds advantage

Everything about this fight is perfect: - Champion vs Interim Champion - The hardest hitter vs arguably the fastest and highest IQ heavyweight fighter - The fact that they are former friends/training partners - Ngannou allegedly knocked out Gane in sparring. - Potentially Ngannou’s last fight in the UFC. What a way to start of the PVV events of 2022. I’d say it’s 50/50, may the best man win.

3 pounds lighter than against Stipe(2) 4 poubds heavier than against Lewis. And 3 pounds heavier than against blaydes(2) 250-260 is where he's been at recently after first loss to stipe. Before that he was ballooning a lot more in weight. This is right in the ballpark of where to expect him in weight, judging by earlier weigh ins.

I think Moreno vs Figgy all comes down to Figgy’s cut. If Figgy recovers well then he will win IMO.

Love both fighters. Both great in their own way. I think Gane has to employ calf kicks right away n move move move. If he can get rid of that front leg it should, in theory take away from some of Francis’s power but idk. Ngannou needs one n its done. But i bet Francis has been working hard in wrestling and jujitsu as well as defense seriously for this fight…Can’t wait for tonight!!!

Detailed analysis: When I look at Francis posing in his photoshoot a few embeddeds ago & I look at him now, Im pretty sure he just cut water weight to make weight & thats another factor many people havent noticed in Gane's favor. I know he tried to cut some muscle in training but he looks deflated like all the other water weight cutters in both weigh ins compared to his photoshoot just days before. He had to cut water weight to fight Stipe as well. Another clue is DC mentioned 270lbs when joking w/ him in the last embedded. People were even mentioning how Gane looks bigger despite weighing less & of course he should when he doesnt have to cut water weight. It takes more than 12 hours to get all that water back where it came from. Keep in mind Francis was the last person to weigh in at the official weigh in. All this spells success for Gane(via Francis likely gassing out) especially if you remember how well Gane defends himself both in dodging & blocking his chin. I hope yall are ready for Jon vs Gane cuz that will be the talk of the town tomorrow night til the day it finally happens. Jon will def want to fight Gane right away since Gane isnt a colossal sized hw like Francis & Gane will be happy to wait for Jon while parading the belt in France. I predict a late summer hw Jon debut against Gane. I hope Francis is still permitted to make his money fighting Fury cuz thats an easy pay day though I dont see him winning that one neither though its possible all the same within the 1stfew rounds & only takes 1 mistake from Fury.

@@gismo3564 When you have that much muscle its super easy to over do it. If he wanted to, he could cut another 20 lbs & still not be in as bad a shape as Figgy. The luxury of being big w/ huge muscles is water weight cutting is easy. Theres literally many occasions where fighters cut 3 or more lbs more than they needed. To slip & cut 8 more lbs like Francis did is very possible for his size but who knows, it could be strategy as surley as many people are confused by it unlike me. My eyes dont lie. Go back to embedded 4 & look at the arms & chest of Francis in his photoshoot at the end of the video then look at him in the official weigh in. Its quite clear especially when you see his body next to Gane's at the ceremonial weigh in. He will look like his normal self tomorrow but the cut will have some effect on his already limited cardio.

I was there for the weigh-ins and my goodness, the crowd was so loud in Moreno's favor that Figgy couldn't even be heard when Joe was interviewing him after he stepped off the scale.
