I've said this before but I REALLY appreciate the editing on this series. I'm so glad they don't try to pump it all up with lots of quick cuts and music. It's JUST the right tone to set the feel before a big fight, man. It's perfect.

I think rob has definately improved his ground game more than his strike fundamentals... In hardy's breakdown he told how bad is adesanya's ground game but his takedown defense is tremendous... But I think the one thing rob should include in his arsenal is his timing to shorten the distance to avoid the right hook to land his combo... But hey may the best man win!

@@Thiiink Mark Hunt was an established kickboxer from K1, Tai is a brawler. This match up plays right into Lewis favour. Lewis can take him down if he wants too as well and he is also the more improved fighter imo. It’s HW though and they hit hard, we will see.

I absolutely cannot wait for the main event and this rematch! Sunday morning can't come fast enough! They both actually seem fucking solid mentally, well prepared. Izzy like always but Robert seems real calm this time around. Israel might be underestimating Rob tho and his clarity before this bout. I do believe that Rob made peace with that loss and you don't get 3 great performances against killers in the division if you are not mentally solid. Whittaker understands that this time - it's all about the skills and the performance inside the cage. But Adesanya is very tricky. We'll see, I love both fighters!

Sucks it's PPV. What's the point in my monthly subscription when they make you pay to watch the fight. I dont even need a subscription I can watch it free online just I'll be doing with this PPV, but.. it's an extra hassle, can't skip back online streams and they can buffer.

@@lauralishes1 there's lots of streams that don't buffer, I believe because MMA/UFC is still not as popular as basketball, especially not football/soccer and streams aren't getting overloaded. Cause when I watch the champs league on some streaming sites it can buffer, but you are safe with MMA and boxing almost every time. In my country, we have a channel which is free on your payed tv provider list and we get to see all the big UFC events. Both the PPVs and biggest fight nights.

But when you have a tricky guy like Izzy you may never know. He's a very hars fight for anyone. Special kind of athlete. It just happened many times in combat sports, something like this when a fighter says every right thing before the contest and then comes after saying they understimated the opponent.

From an outside perspective, Rob accepts Izzy beat him, he also adds he rushed in to much and just wanted to take his head off so he left those openings for izzy to take advantage of. If he takes his time he may not feel as in danger the 2nd fight

Derek Lewis vs Tai Tuivasa is going to be a Banger for damn sure. 2 MONSTERS! It's going to be like Godzilla VS King Kong. I can't wait! And Izzy VS Whittaker 2 is Certainly an interesting 1. Is Izzy going to whip him easier or did Robert make the changes that can get it done. Only time will tell but both those fights should be amazing.

more pressure on Izzy to retain tho his ego seems to thrive in that space , Rob has always fought who they put in front of him, this time there is history but he seems to have done a good job of getting his headspce right pre this fight , he beats everyone else he fights for a title , may not be against Izzy is all he will no doubt move up divisions after a couple more wins

The stakes are high for Rob, if he loses to Izzy again he's shut out of the title picture for the foreseeable future and for as long as Izzy remains the champ which could be for a very long time. This fight is a must-win for him. Izzy on the other hand, can always rebound in an immediate rematch.

It's such an incredible main fight and so tough to call. Whilst I feel like we will see a revised Rob and likely the best version of himself to date, on the other half I slyly feel is going to do something bold and shine under the lights. Similar to Francis most recent fight, could we even see a striker lean on their grappling?
