Even the little things, like thanking each reporter for their questions and asking Edson to join him in prayer after the fight. I hope this man has an incredible rest of his UFC journey and life. Yeah Bryce has tremendous mat control. He’s obviously got a dynamic arsenal of techniques as well - very creative and entertaining passes, positions, submissions and what not. But that’s not what makes him great... it’s the way he *combines* that dynamic offensive onslaught with disciplined, world class top control. He shows an understanding of top control on par with elite control artists like Maia, Khabib, Askren or Makhachev with his tactics and techniques. The way he operates from half guard as a sort of “home-base” for all his transitions and techniques, the way he controls wrists to stop his opponent from posting when near the cage, the way he gives up dominant positions during scrambles to shut down escape attempts, the way he uses his legs in correlation with his upper body, the way he uses his hips, body weight and positioning to control a position, the way he “settles” into top position immediately after a takedown (especially early in the fight) by staying tight and 100% prioritizing control for like 20 seconds before beginning to work, to ensure psychological establishment of the gameplan. It’s all so high level and disciplined for a guy so young - and the way he combines it with such a flashy offensive onslaught is just fascinating to behold.

@@ceck5155 Well, watch the documentary "W3 N33d t0 T@lk Ab0ut S@ndy H00k". (Sorry for the goofy spelling, but there's too much of a risk of KZbin taking this comment down.) SO much sketchy suspicious stuff went on with that event, which hasn't been properly answered or addressed to this day. It's a lot like 9-11, where the official report's narrative was full of holes - many of them gaping and ridiculous. But if anyone dares to question the mainstream media narrative, they get gas-lit and censored. So it's no wonder that tons of people are deeply skeptical of what corporate media tells them to think about such events. I think Bryce's skeptical attitude is far more appropriate and healthy than that of the typical zombie who simply thinks and feels whatever they are told to by the power elite.

@@ceck5155 Imagine having your head so far in the dirt that you think the rich and powerful people of this world don't do devious things. The fact that you tried to make a witty comment on a comment about a person being so wholesome and "good", again proves what type of person YOU are. God bless.

What a performance he put on, I had a feeling he was going to put a lot of pressure on Edson and outwork him.. He beat a very seasoned leg kicking machine. When he dropped him with the left Barboza didn't see it coming. Bryce dropped his hands and put them behind his back and then just corked that overhand left it was beautiful. He believed in himself!

Love what he said about Ukraine. Without disrespecting the plight of Ukrainians, he made the point that you can be about defending your own land without being an empire playing world police for some shady reasons that will be publicly know ten years from now. What a good role model. HE's doing country boys right. Got a lot of respect for you brother.

This is a good ol’ boy. Super happy he gave props to Edson Barboza who definitely deserve it for all the work he has put inside the octagon. The end of fighting is near for Edson, but the beginning is for Mitchell. Love this guy.

Billy Sharp do u know the guy? No u don't so plz with all this bs praise. I watch mma for the fights and fights only bcuz all this humbleness that bryce is showing let's wait until the big money fights come in his way and then let's see what happens next. Don't forget covington, mcregor, jones were all saying the right things during their comeuppance and how that turn out. The same shit your praising bryce for when he gets a little too confident u will turn on him like every1 else.

Fell in love with Bryce on The Ultimate Fighter when he worked so hard to take care of his teammates and make sure his roommate ate and took care of himself while he was obviously depressed from a bad loss and Bryce has shown what a great guy he is over and over again. It's so refreshing to have a fighter of his caliber in and out of the octagon to root for.
