Bro that was not the same hit. Might have been a similar shot, but this was round 4, after being absolutely wrestle-fucked and exhausted, he looked like he could barely stand. All the antics aside, this dude is incredible. Those wrestling transitions were absolutely top tier. I actually thought Jorge did well trying to break out of the ground and pound but Colby was 2 steps ahead of him every time. And he fights at his natural weight class with that absurd conditioning. His fight game isn’t flashy but damn is it good. Both Colby and Kamaru prove one thing. Wrestling is an absolute amazing foundation into MMA. My son has been talking about wanting to get involved with combat sports and I think I’m going to try to steer him into wrestling.

Definitely have him wrestle from a young age. He’ll learn a great foundation for mma, how to train for fighting shape cardio which is different than just running. Wrestling will teach him how to control his weight in both senses of using his weight to control people and also the numbers on the scale during weigh ins. Plus it’s a great and very fun sport that teaches discipline, self reliance, and also a surprising amount of teamwork for a sport where you’d initially think it’s 90% individual.

Objective journalism is almost non existent in any of the 2 types of journalist. Most journalist don’t really care about being correct but much rather “post” what they feel. Strictly off of emotions. @@JayWest14 You know Burns was a lightweight as well right? Why is fighting Burns a-okay, but not Fat Poirier who's walk around weight is higher than both Colby and Burns'? "Calling out lightweights" sounds good when you try to make the guy sound like a coward, but not so much when that lightweight is a bigger guy than the welterweight calling him out. Not to mention half the top welterweights are former lightweights. Burns, Masvidal himself, RDA has moved back down but was top 5 almost his entire WW run. Most of Colby and Usman's best wins are against guys who used to fight at 155.

@@gbatofranselene4LIFE That decision was kinda bs vs Usman. He has one the “big ones” before. But it’s impossible if the judges are going to rob u. Rewatch it, no way u can say Usman won rounds 3-5. That performance was legendary. And even when he lost the first fight vs usman, he was winning the fight and got caught with his mouth open with .5 sec left in round 3. Colby came out and won round 4, with a broken jaw. That made him a legend. He’s just different, and isn’t even in his prime yet, gets better every fight.
