Colby has the whole world eating out the palm of his hand. His friendship with Chael Sonnon really comes through when he's doing interviews or promos. He knows all the reporters names, acts respectful even when throwing shade, and sick old school WWF one liners after every comment. No one since Conor has understood the art of growing your brand so good. People forget that Colby was close to getting cut from the UFC back in the day till he started to play the bad guy. Now he's on top of the world because people love to root for their favorite fighters but love even more to hate a guy like Colby.

Showing his post fight interview is perfect.. just dont show him Bryce's interview with Ariel.. Bryce claiming school shootings are set up by the government, claiming the LV shooting was set up by the government, talking about using his guns to fight against our government, etc.. Dude has a heart of gold, but his mind has been infiltrated by extremist views. Ariel handled it perfectly tho, countered him enough to make him look dumb, but also let Bryce hold the shovel while he buried himself.

Bryce you guys get into the cage and show how deadly, how dangerous, and what a top tier MMA fighter can do to punish another man intent on punishing him, but tonight's post right interview showed how humble, how kind, how selfless, and how a person's strength of character can be more inspiring than the things he did in the octagon. I'm so glad Dana wants to give to charity so that you might be able to enjoy more of the purse you won and I'm thinking that just like me ------ EVERYONE tonight is floored by not how much punishment you could hand out and take, but how really good a guy you are. Keep it up Bryce----- you are a good man brother.

Very well said. I never thought much about Bryce in TUF competition, but it seemed I was only focusing on his fighting ability instead of the character within the man. Darren till.. and donald cerrone to secure a title shot....like come on. That's not title shot worthy. They are all washed 🤣. Colby did what he said he was going to do.. expose Masvidal. Masvidal is a great striker but that's it. Colby breaks wills. He goes out and makes a point to take you down in RD 1 and maul you. Then you get to sit on your stool and worry about the next 4 rounds going the same. Masvidals will broke in the 2nd round. After that he just stood there up straight flat footed whenever Colby pushed the pace. He hardly let his hands go from fear of the take down. Colbys striking looked so improved, he was landing combinations while Jorge was backing up. Even threw some nice head kicks. That was a 50-44 fight all day.. if Jorge didn't clip and drop Colby in the 4th it would of been 50-43.

I'm starting to see a pattern of decline in ATT cornerwork. It was quite poor with Amanda, Poirier, and now Masvidal. Mike Brown is a legend, but he needs to start stepping it up for his athletes in the corner since this is the highest level of the sport.

Even that dumb reporter I forget his name is asking about the 2 times he dropped Colby, in the 2nd and 4th. He did drop him in the 4th but in the 2nd Colby went for a kick and Masvidal kicked his grounded leg and he fell. Unless we're calling trips "getting dropped" now I don't know. That fight was a clear 50-44.. could of been 50-43 if in the 4th Masvidal didn't land that nice hook to Colbys chin.. aside from that the entire 4th Masvidal was getting pieced up on the ground and on the feet.

Colby wasn't even hurt. You could see he was out of position and while it was a nice shot by Masvidal, it was more of a slip. Same. Masvidal is one of my favorite fighters. Was hoping he’d get the knockout. But I wasn’t naive enough to expect Colby not to bring it. Colby is an ok striker but combined with his grappling ability, it elevates his striking. Both on their feet could go either way, tho I’d give the edge to Masvidal. Combined with grappling and Masvidal isn’t in colbys league.

It was the Askren 5 second KO and the BMF title that made Masvidal a marque name. But he had to expose Darren Till before he got those opportunities. It was that sequence of fights that got him the fight against Usman. And even though Usman dominated him, he was able to get a rematch, where he got knocked out. Colby wanted this fight because he knew it was an easy match up for him and Masvidal was a name. He wants Poirier for the same reason. He’s a name fighter that Colby knows he can beat. It’s an easier fight than fighting a top 5 Welterweight fighter.
