Rda is a legend, one of the most underrated fighters of all time. I remember when I started watching mma he was the lightweight champion. He is an inspiration!

that's why they have cornermen and a referee bro. cornermen to surrender the fight, and the referee to be able to tell when a guy can't defend himself is absorbing way too much damage and the fight needs to be stopped.

Lot of comments saying RDA was taking it easy in the 5th. Absolutely not. He was tired and you could see it sometimes, but he had heavy swings and a huge head kick. Both are warriors. Great fight.

The level of competition that RDA has faced all these years is simply ridiculous. The guy has simply faced the tops of the tops in two different categories for all these years, in addition to becoming the guy with the most hours of flight time in the octagon... UFC honestly needs more doctor stoppages. If the fighters are evenly skilled and it's a close fight, fair enough. RDA was dominating him the whole fight, there was really no reason for the fight to continue. RDA essentially cruised through that entire 5th round, not wanting to do more damage. Should have been stopped in the 4th.

The doctors job in that scenario is only to tell the ref if the fighter can see. The doctor wanted to stop it before the 5th, but can’t say to stop it when Moicano passed the tests.
