Man. This is perhaps the biggest question an emphatic UFC fan has ever wanted an answer to. And we'll find out tomorrow. Yes Gilbert has been there. But has anyone seen something like Khamzat before? That's rhetorical. I'm an avid fan and I've never seen it. All the greats are talking about it. That's why tomorrow is a huge and I mean a huge day for UFC. Depending on what happens. Not even if Khamzat wins or if Gilbert wins. But depending on the fashion of this fight will truly show if we have, what some of us may consider, possibly the greatest fighter of all time on his way up. And I mean no-questions-asked GOAT. No debate. None. It's not impossible that he could become not only the P4P GOAT but also with a few levels between him the other P4P GOATS. It's not in the wins, though. It's in the manner in which his wins. The story is still unfolding of course. But we may have the best story and fighter in Khamzat Chimaev. It's truly hard not to indulge in a bit of the hype. Personally I think you would be a fool not to entertain it..

Usman wouldn’t be working with Burns to help him take down Khamzat if he didn’t intend on giving Khamzat a shot at the title. It shows he may be nervous though and really wants Burns to win. Khamzat vs Usman for the strap would be a top 3 most anticipated fight in UFC history

Khamzat is the scariest man to come into the ufc in so long. Usually when people burst onto the scene you can say yeah but this guy will just wrestle him and win or this guy can knock him out or he doesn't have the ground game to fight this guy but with Khamzat, his style of fighting and his dominance he just looks absolutely unstoppable. If he does the same thing to burns as he done to everyone else then there is no denying he is a future great and champion for sure. So excited to see this fight.

Burns stock goes up even with the loss. Having the balls to fight Khamzat, even after describing exactly what he is. That is champ mentality right there. Knowing fighting the best will bring out and help make him the best version of himself. Both guy's biggest test imo. I expect it to last longer than half a round, but not go to decision. Marty Juiceman will run and call it retirement.

_The_ loss? The tone of writing here causes me to suspect that you think Burns is going to lose this fight. Looking at Burns' highlight reel in this video, he's a seasoned veteran and skilled striker and BJJ practitioner. So, if anything, Khamzat has a bigger chance of losing than Burns.

do you know what makes this fight so hype...it's not just khamzat being a next khabib...it's burns being one of those men who's not only good at striking but ELITE at wrestling...like you know those guys who are very well rounded and are dominant on the ground and know what they're doing? like gsp for example but gsp wasnt like khabib who was only WRESTLE WRESTLE WRESTLE and those dagestanis..like they have some next level strength and just holds you down....use the context with the gsp thing as burns...burns was ready to go on the ground with usman and shows he was ready and we get to see someone so well rounded like that vs a straight man who's like WRESTLE WRESTLE...like a khabib but obviously we cant say khamzat's exactly like khabib cause khamzat hasnt been there for too long and the dominance hasnt shown....the dominance shown but it hasnt if you get what i mean

Its a not really a low reward fight, Khazmat has the hype as unstoppable. If he finishes Khamzat all that attention will get diverted to Gilbert and UFC is all about views and attention, They will have to give Gilbert a title shot.

I think that this psychological thing when fighters say "I gonna kill everybody" I will smash them all" is not a good strategy for the long term, unless you are an undefeated champ like Adesanya/Khabib , in this division for example you got to be crazy to say that you gonna smash Usman with no doubt. I appreiciate Khamzet's fate but I think that this mindset is too risky and can break a fighter's character in about 3 fights and so his spirit. What I found interesting about khabib/Jones is the fact that they have never predicted out loud their fights 100% percent, for the simple reason they know that they are human beings and can lose, and instead of being high on their talking they are always staying reasonable, clever, clarity, and that's what for me a real Champion is.
