Unless Connor has the strength and the endurance to cut 25-30 plus pounds. I don’t see it happening but it’s a possibility. Connor isn’t training hard right now. That’s a loooong shot but if the title remains vacant until UFC 276 then that’s a possibility

Correct me if i'm wrong, but should the scale thingy not move and be balanced for the weight to be read out? If you rewind to 3:05:30 and look closely, the scale does not stop at all and they still say he is 155.5. I think his team should dispute this. Edit: So I've been reading up on these scales and my assumption was correct, the thing has to stop moving. Hem ight have been over 155 even 160, he might have been 155 or lower, but the guy measuring did not do his job properly. He should have made as many adjustments as needed to have the thing balanced and the correct weight shown.

They was doing him a favour tbh he came in at 156 not 155.5 they lied to save the main even since it isn't that much of a difference, but that 0.5 is very hard to cut so with charles already being way off it and probably really weighing 156 it wasn't possible

Definitely had to cut more, the guy weighing him in accidently told us the truth charles was 156 then they said 155.5 to help him out but he couldn't cut 0.5lbs since that is very hard to do in general yet alone an hour, fights tend to leave that 0.5 but since he is the champion he can't get away with that. Should have focused on beating gaethje instead of putting on more weight than he is used to to focus on getting the KO/style points the W is the most important thing, hopefully he learns from this and sticks to the task next time

I imagined he already had a lot of trouble cutting weight to that amount as he came in last . After that he had nothing left to give .

@@kainoakanoe You need to do some research on how this whole process works. The weigh ins are run by the Arizona state athletic commission. This is a 3rd party government agency that sanctions the event. The UFC has nothing to do with it.

Like come on, Charles put himself through hell to make the weight, half a pound should be rounded to scale error it’s not much of an advantage. This is going to cost the UFC.
