If the fight wasn't stopped then, most likely it would be a year before a rematch. Because it was stopped at that moment, Izzy can rematch in 3 to 6 months.

Mike, Xiaonan may struggle to get to a title fight bc of her grappling deficiency but i like ur thinking. They must do a PPV in China rn, Weili v Lemos, Rose v Xiaonan, Leech etc. Carla v Dern, wrestling vs. BJJ as a Fight Night main event or on a PPV undercard. Keep up the good work boys.

They gave Joe Phifer a guy that lost 3 in a row with a 30lb deficit but not Frankie Edgar give him the worst matchup against the only style thats ever beaten him.

Nobody of these so called experts gave Alex a chance at UFC 281, it was 100% for Izzy even after knowing their history.

Izzy was good at manipulating the narrative, always asking someone who brought up the past KO, if they saw the whole fight, and how he was winning before he got taken away on the stretcher, or how he was robbed of the decision in the first fight. Izzy was tricking everyone into thinking the other fights didn't matter.

Twice. What about 3 times wasn’t Glover fight similar. He didn’t have the defenses but he was the champ he was up 3 to 1 or even 4 to 0 and momentarily lapse loses the title.

they were 2-2, jiri won rounds 2 and 3. however, Glover was winning the 5th. made me really sad to see him lose, he had such a feel good personality.

Hopefully Robert Whittaker gets the 1st crack at the title. I don't believe just because you were the champion that you deserve an immediate rematch. You just lost the title so therefore you should have to go back and earn your way back to a title shot. And it goes for anybody whether I like you and pull for you or not. I don't believe Robert Whittaker deserved and immediate rematch when he lost the title and he's my favorite fighter. But he got one anyway. I just think that if you lose once you get that title shot you should have to earn your way back. If not, it just negates the legitimacy of that title. That's just my opinion!

Depends how the fight goes. Charles lost to Islam in the 2nd round and he's not getting a rematch. Izzy lost in the 5th round via TKO. Izzy getting a rematch for the title is fair.

I think the sooner the rematch it may favor Alex mentally because it’s still fresh in Izzy’s mind…. again. I know that’s not much of Izzy’s problem as much as the Power of Alex is but it still plays a factor

In the standup Alex was winning, izzy won a round off a takedown. Alex was walking him down, and his strikes had more impact

@@orlandoB7927 Read what he said. In the stand up Alex was winning. Izzy won round 1 because of the damage at the end. Round 2 Alex won. Round 3 was on the ground. Round 4 Izzy slightly won because he had slightly more output than Alex. Round 5 Alex killed Izzy. Overall in the entire fight, Alex was beating Izzy in the stand up. He literally outstruck him in the stats.
