Because it's Jon's comeback! Everyone wants to see what he's doing, how he's feeling, whats he is looking/ sounding like Ufc could have and should have made a couple bigger fights! They hate to see Jon succeed! Seems like they also for what ever stupid it seems like they don't want Jones vs gane to have the ppv buys record! So they didn't stack the card as good as they should have and easily could have for a ppv as big as a Jon 'bones' Jones comeback and also made the comain a woman's fight and while yes they are badass woman they don't sell ppv! The more I look at the more I can't believe Jon took this fight on such a crap card! Watching this after the fight, it's crazy seeing the complete different mindsets of these two going into the fight. Jon is completely focused and prepared for battle, while Gane is just hoping to win. I feel like Jon competes to the level of his opponents and he was at his best for this fight.

@@brightBoss its a joke within the mma community about how fighters who get haircuts on embedded lose. it started when anthony pettis got a haircut on the ufc 184 embedded, and then RDA DESTROYED him on fight night then multiple fighters started losing after getting the haircut, (for example, O'Malley lost against chito at ufc 252 after getting haircut on embedded, Conor lost to Dusty at 264, Gaethje lost to Olives at 274 etc)

More often than not Gane is really patient but dude really needs to add something into his aresenal if he wants to deal with takedowns, his biggest advantage is his movement and speed but it means nothing if he cant resist being wrestle-f*cked, either Jones is gonna add a ton of wrestling or break out Legkicks early that take away Gane's weapon comepletely
