Ofc it makes sense lol but i think izzy has earned the right to say alex should earn his stripes and beat at least one top contender before another title shot. Pereira literally got a title shot off of 3 wins in the ufc lol and not a single high level contender with any fight iq (strickland doesnt count🤣). We dont even know if pereira would be able to defend a single takedown from someone in the top 5. Alex should probably rest his chin for a bit after that scary KO and then go fight someone like Vettori whos decent everywhere, has a good enough chin to at least test in him the grappling a little bit but isnt so good that he wrestles him to death like Khamzat would. In the meantime, izzy should probably do the trilogy w whitaker and fight the winner of pereira/vetori. And if he also wins that match, then probably fight the winner of chimaev/costa and then retire IF he wins all those fights.

The second kickboxing fight was won by Alex by knockout. And a victory, controversial or not, should be considered as such. In the last one, Alex was better and lost. It's a defeat and period. 3x1.

@@mhdalle That second fight was won by a knockout but that was after he had had a 8 standing count giving him an opportunity to recover after he was hurt. So that too was controversial. We can admit all of the story and not have to hide some aspects just because you don't like it
